Great question. I'd suggest he'd want back into Europe considering that's where the World Cup is. Maybe a Championship club?Who will take him on and give him the playing time he needs? Who is in the market for a 38 year old striker who will probably only play for another 6 months?

Plenty of players haven't wanted to come back, and even Cahill became a target of abuse. Same thing happened to kewell and aloisi. No wonder schwarzer never did.Tim Cahill has left Melbourne City by mutual consent, effective immediately.
It's never sat well with me that he considers himself bigger than the game here. He's been great at the international level but not much more than a nuisance on the domestic scene in Australia.
Hopefully Adelaide. He could go to another a league club Mariners or Roar?
Well he hardly helped with that. Making all sorts of demands for what it would take to get him to play here. The FFA bending over for him just further proves what an awful organisation they were.Plenty of players haven't wanted to come back, and even Cahill became a target of abuse. Same thing happened to kewell and aloisi. No wonder schwarzer never did.

i'd kind of argue he is.Tim Cahill has left Melbourne City by mutual consent, effective immediately.

You do know what some of the demands are right? They're actually for the good of the junior game with the fox academy etcWell he hardly helped with that. Lucas Neill was seen as a mercenary when he came back, never thought of the others like that thoughPlenty of players haven't wanted to come back, and even Cahill became a target of abuse. Same thing happened to kewell and aloisi. No wonder schwarzer never did.
Of course but that shouldn't be a demand from him. Shows how broken the whole thing is.You do know what some of the demands are right? They're actually for the good of the junior game with the fox academy etc
Why not?Of course but that shouldn't be a demand from him. Shows how broken the whole thing is.
Because he's really got no right to do it.Why not?
He wasn't happy with the way the FFA was running the development side of things so demanded if he was to come back he wanted to do something about it. It's called using your bargaining power and he was using it for the good to try and lower costs of junior football which is exhorbotent
TBH its stupider running him into the ground like we are rather than adding adding depth/rotation/competition to a very important position in the shape we play. Why does Alonso need to be upgraded on?
Just stupid
Because he's really got no right to do it.
Can you imagine Christian Eriksen moving to England, provided the FA changed the way they did certain things? David Silva only moving back to Spain if the Spanish FA changed things etc.
I've got no problem with Tim raising those points as things to look to improve but they should never have been used as a bargaining chip to get him back over here. Just continues the love affair Tim has with himself. The FFA should have told him to buzz off. Instead, the incompetent shit show that they are, buckled completely.

Ake is a center back for a start, he didnt want to fight for spot(like Christensen is) and asked to be sold so he was. No point holding him for ransom.I still don't understand the misuse of Ake. Bertrand too.
the difference is that the federation here has shown they have absolutely no clue.Because he's really got no right to do it.
