in fairness, wagner is a bayern boy originally. is 30, gets himself a pay rise and basically guarantees himself going to the world cup and maybe a couple of bundi's with bayern.

Agree on Wimmer. Just a shame. We dont pay the wages for someone to trade off playing time. What we could offer is playing time though, and rotate Verts & Alder a bit more.

i haven't seen Shaw play for a while, but i have seen a couple of Celtic's games and i really like Tierney.
And we seem keen on Sessegnon.
Either or, a left back or two would be nice.

Alli i'd be less sad to lose than Eriksen. I'd be interested to see if Madrid/Barca could match PSG levels of spending to satisfy Levy, but if 100-150m is on the table, i'd take it.
Alli is easily turned into the cash we need to build the squad/pay stadium costs.

I can see us adding Barkley, Sessegnon & Zaha this window.

Wimmer has looked out of his depth as a regular starter this year. And always looked clunky and slow for us. I'd rather Davies as a LCB backup and have rose and KWP as the LB

Once rose goes then Sessengon comes in to replace. Don't want shaw at all

Transfer fees are always inflated in the Jan Window, and apparently we think we can get him back to the form of last season.

Then again, you've got say James Tomkins getting linked with Everton for $20M, that's just how inflated the market is currently...

I’d only be interested if he was cut price AND we signed nagelsmann next year

People think Mawson is average because he plays for an average team. He also actually fairly good and in a better team he'd look quality. I agree that he hasn't shown as much as Maguire did, but he's still better than Tomkins.

His defensive ability leaves a lot to be desired. Can't cite the specific examples, but I've watched a few highlights shows that have highlighted how bad his defending has been to gift goals.

He only really burst onto the scene because he scored a few goals towards the end of last season.
