Inb4 Naby Keita lights up Anfield website gaffe. In all seriousness I would accept spending another 10m to get him right now with the 142m Coutinho windfall. Not a Coutinho replacement but will add plenty of drive and physical prowess through the centre of the park.

Leipzig are after €10M-€15M (£8.9M-£13.3M) to make the deal happen.

Apparently one of the clauses in our agreement with Leipzig was that if they made the Champions League this year (they're currently 5th, level on points with 3rd placed Dortmund), his fee would increase from £55m to £66m. The fee they're after to release him in January would essentially cover that.

Doubt that, you triggered his buyout clause.

Looks like the Terriers have picked up Pritchard off Norwich for 12m.
Think we may have had a sell on for this one from memory.
It'll be good to see him in the PL. Was unlucky to be injured when he was with us, and then made a good decision to go seek regular football instead of being just a bench option at Spurs.

I know he was rated really highly by youth watchers at Spurs, like Windy and so on, so it will be interesting to see how he goes with regular time in the PL.

Under Wagner I could see Pritchard doing extremely well.

Just on Cout.

Cant believe we have sold him. Makes zero sense. I've read it was Klopp's call as whether he can go or not and that he was sick of Cout and his bullshit to get his move which is fair enough.

Nobody is bigger than the club.

We did get a fantastic price for him.

But we are undoubtedly weaker for having sold him as he is a fantastic player and it puts our top four and CL aspirations right in the shitter. No chance we can find an adequate replacement in January.

In closing. The whole thing sucks and I'm sick of consistently selling our best players to Real and Barca.

Ankle injury slowed him down a bit and he already didn't have much pace to begin with. I'll never forget the nextgen game I went to against Barca that he dominated with the likes of Sergi Samper and Roberto on the other side and Sandro from Everton there too. Goes to show you how much you can take from youth football, Shaq Coulthirst scored a hat trick!
