For a squad that has 6 England internationals in it last season, we have massive HG issues as well. We had to leave players out of our CL registration last season because we had too many foreigners, yet couldn't fill a full squad because we didn't have enough HG players. The problem for us is that Dier and Davies ridiculously count as foreigners when it comes to the CL. Not 100% sure they qualify as nation trained in the league either.Poor Wolves and Arsenal.
and Foyth and Sanchez haven't counted as U21 players as they are non-EU so also had to be in the 17 Non-HG. So that's 4/17 taken up by players who possibly shouldn't.For a squad that has 6 England internationals in it last season, we have massive HG issues as well. And now Trippier gone and Rose seemingly going. I mean, we got Vorm and Llorente out I guess, but it's still going to be a huge issue this season.and Foyth and Sanchez haven't counted as U21 players as they are non-EU so also had to be in the 17 Non-HG. Oh nice. I'm excited about this one, so I hope it happens.

LOL jealous? **** that. You have nothing to be jealous about after the events of July 2. Still hurts. So jealous. Meanwhile we are looking like signing only 2 17 year olds for the grand total of about 5m.
It actually looks like it will be one of the youth keepers, Alfie Whiteman. Mind you, we've got no shortage of them in the academy. There's about 6 of them down there. I genuinely think we have taken 5 keepers to this tour in Asia. And we also seem to sign a new youth keeper every season, which I don't really understand.Who's your #3 keeper? Always helps to sign a lower league English plonker as #3 to help with HG issues.
You don't need anyone. You are absolute boss as it is.Who's your #3 keeper? Always helps to sign a lower league English plonker as #3 to help with HG issues.
Ha - I quoted his wrong post! He's talking about Spurs's 3rd keeper, could possibly use a U23s player to help with HG issues if there is any.
When the window opened I said we needed 3 signings. A replacement for Mignolet, Sturridge and Moreno.Ha - I quoted his wrong post!
He was bemoaning Liverpool’s lack of signings, when the truth is you don’t really need any.
Besides, the player that Kanga posted about would only be an Eriksen replacement anyway, so arguably would not be a step forward for us. No way we spunk another £70m on a player if we aren’t expecting a large outlay going the other way
I don’t think you need to buy just for the sake of it. I suppose the counter argument is that if you want to overhaul City then you do need to look into bringing in more quality, but looking at your team very hard to see how you can improve it. I thought maybe another centre mid but it seems Klopp is happy with what he’s got. My belief is that City will drop off slightly next season. Their motivation will surely be on winning the CL. They are still going to get at least 90 points though you’d thinkWhen the window opened I said we needed 3 signings. A replacement for Mignolet, Sturridge and Moreno.
Then I realised Mignolet will stay as a backup so no need to buy anyone,
Then I also realised Milner backing up Robbo would be an upgrade on Moreno, (With Ox also being fit to take a mid spot)
So for the last month I said a big money striker is needed. But it sounds like a lot of faith is being put into Brewster to be our 3rd striker behind Firmino and Origi. Sturridge only got 4 goals last season and Brewster has 3 already in pre-season so it would only take him a few decent games to match and possibly improve on Sturridge's output.
You can deffs argue that Lallana could be upgraded on. I think that will happen next summer. He's gone from being an AM in the past to a Jorginho style mid this pre-season, was absolutely awful against Bradford, I'd imagine he'll play a handful of cup games and won't do anything good.I don’t think you need to buy just for the sake of it. That's a great deal for PSG IMO.SkySports saying that Barca have offered PSG 90mil + any 2 of Coutinho, Dembele, Rakitic, Malcom and Semedo they want for Neymar.
