EFA. You don't know that Slabhead will guarantee that the defence will perform now

We've added two quality players in our weakest positions down back. I'm satisfied we'll see a massive improvement in defence.

Add Dybala and hopefully Fernandes and we'll be in the thick of it.

Talk in Brazil that Gremio has offered to sell Everton to Everton, but Everton has said that they are focused on other players although Everton wants a European move

85 million for Maguire is crazy. The world's most expensive defender. I mean would he even rate in the top 20-30 CBs in the world?

Yes and quite comfortably.

One funny thing I’ve found is everyone going on about united paying overs for slabhead but nothing about Bayern on Hernandez
Less money for a younger player with positional versatility, and from a better club. Also it was a release clause, so there was no negotiating involved (unlike the failed attempt at negotiating Woodward apparently put in).

Add in the fact that the "English Tax" and Man Utd overpaying for players are both well known things and it was always going to draw more derision.

Big money for a guy who’s not even a starter at his club compared to a guy with good form for 2 years and a good World Cup

Translation is "Barca has offered Coutinho on a loan to an English club which would cost €25-30mil as a loan fee"

Considered Tier 1 for Barca, and there have 2 or 3 other reports stating similar, although no club is mentioned

It's Arsenal that's been mainly linked and it makes no sense at any turn.

1. The 3 starters he would have to displace were all top class players - better than anything Slabhead has played with so far
2. He started for a fair bit of last season before his season was ended by injury
3. Lucas had a good World Cup too ;)

That seems to be by a process of elimination.

Man City and Liverpool have no real need for a player like him, Man Utd and Tottenham are busy trying to secure other somewhat similar players and Chelsea has a transfer ban, so that leaves Arsenal

Dunno about that, if it's just about elimination you could quite easily bring clubs like Everton, Leicester, Wolves etc. There's clubs with money that might think he can get them into CL. If we're talking about process of elimination then we'd also be out because of no need for his role and that 20-30mil on a loan does not fit in our budget (I doubt we're amortising a loan).

lol. Made up transfer rumours are better than the real one's.

That seems a bit extreme but the impression I always got from Dybala was that he wanted to become a Juve legend and be Del Piero’s heir. So I understand him not being allegedly unhappy about being forced out by the club.
