Watford have signed Ismaila Sarr for a club record fee.

He was linked with a move to Palace over the last couple of days. Many thought should he sign for Palace they could then allow Zaha to move on.

With Sarr now off the table and Palace looking incredibly unlikely to bring in any major transfers I think it’s now fair to rule out any potential departure of Wilfred Zaha.

35m for Iwobi... He’s not as good as Oxlade-Chamberlain who was pretty much the same fee IIRC.

The Rojo deal wasn’t ever on, plenty of the good Everton journos have said we only ever wanted a loan.

I’m quite happy with Iwobi though, I understand £35m is a lot of money but at 23yo he’s got a really good mixture of Premier League experience but still plenty of potential to grow.

It’s a collaboration between Nike and Off white (Virgil abloh). They are low production and generally only get sold by raffle or on the resale market - which can fetch over the thousand mark. The tag is part of the branding

Not sure that doing nothing is the right call either. They didn’t have to go out and have a Tottenham window or overspend like City.. but you guys had a pretty good injury run, especially with the front 3, no guarantee that happens again. Striker and central midfield depth would’ve been handy. 1-2 upgrades/competition for existing players is the way to go imo. City do it well every year (even if they do overspend to achieve it).
