Made a shit load of money for a couple of years and is now headed back to his old club still in his prime years at just 26.

Carrasco has been wanting to come back to Europe for a long time already. I don't think he ever really wanted to go to China. From memory, he didn't get along with some older key players at Atletico and a quick deal was constructed via the Wanda group. The club now says they believe he has matured. I think it's only a loan deal initially.

From all reports he is exactly what we need. A Winks-Dier hybrid. Strong enough to play holding mid unlike Winks. Useful on the ball unlike Dier

Wasn't really getting along with Simeone either, and had been under-performing for more than a year before he was sold.

He might help with the lack of creativity in the team, but he certainly won't with our inability to actually finish chances that are created (which is what Cavani was wanted for)
