Pjanic has been fraudulent for a while now. Aside from set piece he is average.

Problem is our side is very unbalanced. Either we protect him defensively but he doesn’t have enough offensive options to pass to or we give him passing options but he’s hung out to dry defensively. He was great in the 4-2-3-1 because it accommodated allot of two players around him but we just haven’t had the right personnel around in a 4-3-3.

Absolutely - you always want to hold onto your best players. With Götze leaving, that will free up 10€m/season, would be more than happy to reinvest a big portion of that into his salary and make him the highest player at the club, see if we can snag a few more years out of him whilst united aren't in Champions League. I seriously think if we can keep the core of him, Haaland, Guerreiro, Brandt, Can and Hummels together for a couple more years, we can go pretty deep, especially with Reyna coming through, and hopefully a good new RB and LB (for when Hakimi leaves and Piszczek retires)
