Listened to an interview with Jesse Marsch (former Leipzig assistant, current RB Salzburg manager) on the Blood Red poddy. Gave fascinating insight into how the clubs are run and pretty much said they are on good terms with LFC / Klopp.

I can see this one happening this summer if we sell a few players. If that doesnt happen intetesting to see if someone else can convince Werner to move this off season. Dont see a bidding war happening.

I guess with Kane and Son, who can easily hold CF when needed you dont really need to spend €50m+ on a striker like Osimhen.

Someone like Mertens would be ideal, free, experienced and able to play anywhere across the front.

He was no where near fit enough to play an entire game, much less a half of football....Should have used him as a late sub.....Dumb management in such a huge game is dumb.

Always a tough thing when one of your top players is half fit for a big game.

It's never a good idea imo, but clubs always seem to take the risk. I wonder too if the player having a strop affects their way of thinking.
