To me hes better off going somewhere hes a chance to play week in week out, not a couple of cup games.

I dont see the championship as a bad thing for him this season as hes only 20 and needs as many games as he can get.
I rate him highly enough that he'd play if in good enough form. He'd be contending for a spot with Son/Lucas/Dele who right now you'd think are streets ahead of him but they've all had their moments where they didn't look good enough to play regularly for us but with good form became essential. He was stupidly our last minute option after half heartedly trying to get Zaha/Martial so the minutes were there for them there would be for him too

TBH i dont see him competing with those guys, if hes not going to be played as a CF then your wasting his and your own time.

Ive watched him play a fair bit and hes a striker through and through and is best suited playing up front, not out wide or behind someobe else.

Not sure if you’ve watched us this season but Lucas has largely been playing up front in a front 2 with Kane. I can see Son doing this when he is back too. At times Dele has done it too. Can’t see why Tammy wouldn’t be able to push any of them for a spot in the side. He is quick enough and good enough on the ball to play with Kane unlike Llorente/Janssen so he made sense as a transfer target but stupid to leave it until the final day to realise it

Craig Bellamy said it best just a couple days ago

He said: "What some managers might say is ‘you’d be great for him because you can keep him on his toes and if you play and you train better, you’ll get your chance’.

"I (as a striker) ain’t taking that gamble, because I don’t think Spurs fans would accept it and I know the English media won’t accept it."

Former Swansea City man Fernando Llorente made the move to Spurs last summer and has found game time hard to come with, as substitute appearances most common for the forward.

The former Wales international went on to say how Pochettino would not be able to leave Kane on the bench, due to his star presence on the pitch for his country, as well as his club.

He added: "You can’t have your golden boy sitting on the bench, it wouldn’t happen. So I know straight away I’m not being held responsible for that because he’s England’s future, he’s the one they’re all pinning their hopes on, he’s the one that gets goals.

"This is a battle any forward would want to stay away from."

He’s dead right. We’ll have this problem for quite some time

I understand how inflation works but I don't get this?

Why are these players most expensive? Where is someone like Hazard? Or Bergkamp, Zola, Henry, Vieira, Aguero etc?

It's based on actual transfer fees.

That’s why we have to buy players who can start with him. Lucas and Son currently. Martial, Zaha, Abraham type players were who we targeted. Shit copy cat versions like Janssen or Batsuyahi were never going to cut it. And Llorente is just a real odd one

What is unclear then

Lol.

He's asking why players who went for lower fees, later, are somehow more expensive than players who cost more a longer time ago when those should have been impacted by inflation more.

Thought that was clear from the conversation.
