Remember when Cahill came through at Villa. Looked promising then buy really took a step forward at Bolton.

Arsenal could have had him six months before us too but they were being stingy over a couple of million so we swooped in January and got ourselves a bargain.

Imo making agents accountable is a great idea, stops the flogs from acting in their own interests all the time (making a quick buck) which will in turn benefit clubs keeping their best players for longer and fans will stay happier for longer too, particularly kids.

That year Mendes moved Di Maria, Falcao and one or two others on in the one window was disgraceful. Simply lining his pockets.

The way i see it is if hes happy and we are in the Champions league at the end of the season he'll stay, if not he'll go. His wife and kids are happy and settled in England and would prefer to stay apparently, hes said a few times she wears the pants.
