Even though statistically you are safer in a plane than a car, I can’t imagine the horror of being on a plane that is descending out of control. Car crashes are split second, you rarely have time to react and are usually non-fatal, plane crashes you must be aware of your plight for a good minute, and you know the outcome is likely to be a horrid death. No wonder Bergkamp never used them

Completely agree. It’d be a horrible way to go, especially those last few minutes.

A few times I’ve experienced the plane struggling to land in bad weather, and needing to circle back around again to make another attempt. That’s been frightening at times, the mood on the plane is one of dread.

But to have a plane spiral down or experience catastrophic problems and a rapid descent etc, **** that would be absolutely terrifying. Very scary shit, such a sad turn of events with this.

I've actually developed a weird fear of flying which is odd, never had a particularly bad experience, but the last few times I've flown, if there's been any dips of turbulence I've been irrationally worried.

This is probably a terrible time to raise this question but as no one here knows him, I’m going to anyway. Do clubs have insurance on player purchases? Or are Cardiff left with the payment should he not be available to play.

Definitely agree with this. That’s why cruises have never appealed to me.

I’m pretty much the same. I get quite panicky when going through turbulence. I don’t even think I’ve experienced that much of it.

Same thing happened with us and Mason, we just had to cop it unless we had any insurance out on the player, which I think is reasonably rare.
