In terms of money, he’s probably paid 2-3 times more for that private chartered flight than a business class fare on a commercial airline.

I don’t think it was anything to do with saving money. More so the time/convenience of a direct flight.
Yeah fair enough but it's an hour flight from Nantes to Paris and then similar from Paris to Cardiff. A short stopover inbetween. What's the rush. Such a tragic story though. I dont like those small airplanes and I never get on them.

i guess it's all pretty easy to saw now with hindsight what should and shouldnt be done.

Sadly he doesn’t have the benefit of hindsight. Given the choice again of course we’d all know what he would choose. But it’s just a very sad set of circumstances for all involved.

IIRC the last call he made mentioned how much stuff he had to do and how he exhausted he was. I also think they mention he had training that afternoon. All said, that extra hour probably seemed like a dream, not a death sentence.

brighton have signed one of my favourite fm names ever. alexis mac allister. from argentinos jr. he also has two brothers, kevin and francis. kevin was the first one i remember reading about, it's just such an odd name for an argie to have.

I think this must be Pep’s idea of trolling. I’ve read some absurd articles in my time but this just about takes the biscuit

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola opens up on challenging transfer fees and wages

he's not wrong though. it is difficult to get good talent at good prices. it's in response to missing out on de jong though, with barca paying 65 mil + bonuses and 300k a week for a 21 year old from holland. it's just a reference to how the club is structured due to not getting players in last few years due to wages.

that sounds like a fifa wage

Looks like Juve are selling Benatia to a club in Qatar and getting Caceres on loan from Lazio.

Is Grealish still a possibility? Nice boost for you guys if you sign someone combined with Son returning earlier than expected from the Asian Cup.

Grealish is an awful player, would be laughable if they tried to get him.
