A classic tottenham hotspurs supporters rationale when trophies come into the conversation. :$
Ease up. Time out.
I just been arguing that Bournemouth on Saturday in the league pails in insignificance to setting the squad up to win in Amsterdam.

1 win away from a UCL final surely is more important than 3pts in the league... To try and get back into the comp.
Try and win it while you're in it more important than preferencing getting back in I'd have thought.

Personally think Spurs will win the UCL.

You’re probably the most plastic fan on here, but unfortunately for you you’re now following an unfashionable club. Maybe the experience will teach you some humility but I won’t hold my breath

I've followed the western bulldogs since i was like 3 or 4, i think i know what it feels like following an unfashionable club that doesn't win much is like, arsenal is in the blood aswell and certainly didn't bandwagon onto them when the likes of thierry henry and bergkamp were running around.

You just hate trophies, i get it, it's the mindset of a tottenham hotspur supporter, cool.

You’ll never understand the true meaning of supporting a club. It’s wasted on you

Western Bulldog supporters being called plastics. What a time to be alive haha.
One of us and Ajax playing Barca in a couple of weeks. What a time to be alive.

Haha nice comeback. :$
It’s true though, by your definition anyone who follows a club that doesn’t regularly or even win any trophy (and that’s probably the majority of football fans) are wasting their time. Such a shit position to take. Those clubs and therefore fans are the lifeblood of the sport. It’s not all about the plastic cash and fans of Chelsea and City, or even the glory hunters like yourself supporting arsenal (don’t give me in the blood you’re a ****ing Aussie). Absolutely clueless, and that goes for the others on here who think the whole thing is solely about trophies.

Remember seeing pics from his Arsenal days to his United days.

Think he's been on the Luke Shaw diet.

TBH he's really unsuited to our style of play and I'm not sure why Pep was interested in the first place. Gives the ball away too much.

I literally said this when he signed for United;

Offended?

Alexis Sanchez averages 22.6 turnovers per 90 touches (dispossessed, bad touch, and bad pass) which just 2 more per 90 than Christian Eriksen, Cesc Fabregas and Kevin De Bruyne.

43.1% of his touches lead to turnovers. It's got nothing to do with nerves that's just the way he plays, get used to seeing it a lot.
It's possible it will.

Sanchez always tries to force something to happen. That's what makes him such a brilliant player BUT he also gives the ball away a lot because of it. You take the good with the bad.

Wenger was happy to indulge Sanchez's creativity which also cost the team, you only need to look back at the Man City game where Sanchez lost the ball 23 times and it was only an offside call that stopped City from scoring directly from one of them.

It will be interesting to see how much freedom he's given by Mourinho to keep doing that, knowing that Mourinho prefers a more "cautious" approach to games.

and got slated by certain posters.

He was a success at Arsenal because he was allowed to cause havoc to the detriment to the team's structure and defence.

He failed at United because he had to work in a strict structure, lost confidence and now can't do anything right.

In essence that is what you’re saying. Think about it
I said liverpool if they don't win a trophy this season with the team they have and the soccer they have played this is a bit of a failure but go ahead and continue melting it's making me laugh

Essendon 99-01. Considered underachievers (failures?) for only winning 1 in 3 dominant seasons.
