Totally get it from a sporting sense to be honest. Signing a German national team centre back, and former captain to mentor our two young CB stars (Zagadou and Balerdi) whilst providing a third option with Akanji and Diallo. It’s the perfect sporting trade in that sense. He’s far better than Boateng, and he’ll fit into the team far better than most
