Hope United walk away from Maguire. This isn't like the Van Dijk deal at all, where the player was a significant upgrade on what they already had. Maguire is an obvious upgrade on Smalling when it comes to his comfort and ability on the ball, but defensively? I don't see much of a difference TBH.

This signing is pretty similar to the price range/ability that Man City grabs their players for, so pretty pleased with it. But I gotta wonder if we have to sell to buy now for the rest of the window? Was that our budget there? Etc

Yeah, I agree. It feels like we're finally acting like a 'big 'club,' whatever that means.

I know it's stating the obvious, but without being on the inside, it's impossible to know the budget. Ceballos has been mooted as a loan with an option to buy. If there isn't much left in the budget after Ndombele, then that would be a good deal because I would assume if we do buy it would come out of next year's budget.

I suspect we'll complete a deal for Sessegnon and maybe a loan for Ceballos, and then deals after that will depend on outgoings. If Eriksen gets a decent fee, then we need a replacement, and I suspect we'll only go in for a RB after we sell Trippier and/or Aurier.

Cracking signing for Spurs is Ndombele. I reckon they should put a contract on the table for Eriksen that he cant refuse. Any replacement signed for Eriksen is not going to be as good as him for the price that he would command. Better to hang on to your best players if it is possible.

I think he wants a new challenge and a change in scenery. Problem is there's not actually many clubs out there willing to spend money to buy him. I think he'll sign a new deal with a good payrise & 100m release clause in it in case that changes over the next year or two

I'd take Bale as we desperately need a RW but I only value him right now at around 50m with him seemingly unwanted at RM and large wages.
