Not sure Norwich even have a CB that is at Lovren's level let alone VVD. Or a keeper of Mignolet's level let alone Allison.

30m for Norwich could be enough to get them 2-3 players who could be key pillars to survival. Max Aarons a teenage right back won't be a key pillar to their survival.
Not hard to find a CB at VVDs level. Dime a dozen for CB's who fall asleep and make mistakes.

Max Aarons was almost arguably their best player last season and he's got huge potential, from memory he's signed through 2023 also.

They'd be mad to sell him unless it was an obscene offer.

Could say the same thing about Sessengon the season before with Fulham

They signed Fahrmann from Schalke on loan.

He started more games in midfield than down back. Works for Liverpool to have an average just overteenage years full back.

Love your work brades. You went a bit quiet after the champions league final but good to see you warming up for the new season.

That's because I had the girlfriend in Australia, not even back in the UK yet.

This is not going to work out well.

I have no idea why we'd rather paying 30m euros for Trippier than 20m for Hysaj when Trippier is not a fit for what Simeone does
Apparently a fee of £21.7m (€24m) has been agreed.

Starting to slightly worry where we heading in this window. Trippier, Rose and possibly Toby and Eriksen all departing will mean a lot of ins are required. Not a lot of time left to make that happen and we know how slow Levy is at getting deals done

Yup, once again we are making all the wrong decisions
Not for me, I think this is a good decision.
How will we ever know if with exposure KWP (who has over a 50% start to MOTM rate in the league so far) could be our version of Trent Alexander-Arnold if we sit him on the bench unused or not in the squad for 90% of the season???

Why buy Aarons when we have our own young HG right back begging for an opportunity?

As for your earlier comment Roma are signing Mancini from Atalanta for roughly what TA’s release clause is, which suggests they don’t like his wage demands, and means he presently has no seriously linked suitors, and may stay true to his word to seeing out his contract.

Atletico are reportedly showing interest in Eriksen, meanwhile his mooted replacement should he leave, Lo Celso, has his current club spending money on players for good money. Maybe they have a big impending sale forthcoming...

Wasn’t you calling for us to sign a right back rather than go fir Sessegnon on the spurs thread a week or two ago? You’ve changed your mind quickly.

Calling it now, our net spend is going to be zero come the end of the window.

Yes I’d rather spend at right back, CM or a backup striker over an over hyped Sessegnon.

But I’m also open to the idea of signing none and promoting Kyle. He either needs to be backed and exposed at the level, or loaned and sign a replacement. This indicates we’re doing the brave option.

I’d still have Sessegnon low on our priority list too btw. Another CM and a backup CF are more pressing

Ideally we’d flog Aurier too and bring in a RB to slug it out with KWP. Don’t see that happening though

Why are you selling your best players? Are you the next Chelsea FC?
