That’s true actually. If we genuinely get offered £80m we should take it and run.Joe Gomez is better.
Maguire wasn’t even that great last season if you listen to Leicester fans. I think he’s a good player who is being massively overhyped.
As I said, I watch Ireland's games, a team you claimed evidenced his parity with Maguire.
I never said he was at his exact level. I said he's not several levels below him.
So you're lying.

Sorry?
You've backpedaled and twisted your story so many times it's hard to keep track of what you're actually saying.
Duffy is not as good a player as Maguire. Fact. Anything else you try to peddle is just nonsense.
Shane is awesome though.
I read this in Homer's voice for some reason lol, and it worked so well.Yeah, leave slabhead alone!
“PL proven” is such a nonsense term. Good players are good players. The Premier League is not that special.
Sanchez was “PL proven” when he moved to United. Salah and De Bruyne were PL failures before they came back and are in the top 3-4 players in the league.
That however is the line selling the player. Personally I'd be chasing someone younger with quality from outside of England.
He had played for the Paraguay national team though so he got a work permit. You need to find them when they have Spanish parents or something like that to enable them to get an EU passport. That's what Barca do.For the players under 25 you're probably right. Was thinking more of how we signed say Balbuena for 3.5M and he's probably worth about 15M or so now.
If the people at FM are correct, which they usually are with this kind of thing, a player also qualifies for a work permit if they're in the top X% of wage earners in the league or at the club, or something like that.Usually, which makes me wonder about a work permit this time? Even with his transfer fee and wage - he's never played for Brazil.
I can't remember, I wasn't sure if that was a thing. If they are like that then they usually play plenty of games for their international team (even Brazil or Argentina which are the two non-EU teams you'd have to really think about)If the people at FM are correct, which they usually are with this kind of thing, a player also qualifies for a work permit if they're in the top X% of wage earners in the league or at the club, or something like that.
You responded to someone who said Duffy is as good as Maguire. This seemed to suggest you agreed? Maybe I misunderstood you then.
You did that with Lindelof.
And Bailly who has been plagued by injuries but showed to have been a good deal prior to them.
Lindelof for mine is becoming very impressive. Quite a few very good CB options in other leagues that could be bought.
Yeah just saying, you've gone the cheap European route, and clearly want a young British core as well.
Probably banking on Brexit maybe happening and rules on EU's changing.Yeah just saying, you've gone the cheap European route, and clearly want a young British core as well.

I assume they'll be making all their EU talent get British citizenship.Don't think they are banking on it but all the big spending English clubs should really make sure they have a lot of English talent just in case BREXIT does effect teams.

Also this just creates another massive problem with overpriced players and the top clubs cherry picking the british talent.
I like the idea of Tierney & Sessegnon.Possibly. He's been compared to Bale as a similar trajectory, and we saw last season that he can't defend anywhere near as well as he can attack going forward, but as a whole, like Fulham he was rather trash last season.
We don't need a LW and may sell a LB. I'd rather spend 25-30m and snatch Tierney.
Why spend that much on a guy who'll be on the bench as an attacker? Especially when another CM and a CF are needed.
Very low on my priority list for this summer
Poor Wolves and Arsenal.Depends on how sudden it is, quite a few English sides won't be too concerned as they already have English stocks.
