Coutinho’s 27? I thought he was younger. In that case I’d take Dembele and Rakitic. For mine they need to worry about quality more than age.

So we know they have 90mil to offer, but if they sold Coutinho/Dembele for a combined 110mil minimum elsewhere, perhaps it could be done.

Man Utd and maybe Bayern are the only teams I can think of who would have the money, status and desire to buy them (if PSG won't), and I don't think I've seen any rumours of them even being interested in players like those two.

Plus I wouldn't be so sure they "have" 90m given they needed a bank loan for the last 35m of Griezmann's release clause

This list from Forbes back in May says they had no debt, but that they ran a loss for the year.

The reports from before they paid the Griezmann release clause (paid staff late, struggled to find a bank to loan them the 35m euros) don't exactly match a club that has no debt though, so who knows?

Just reading it now. Apparently we beat Real Madrid to him? Richarlison was apparently a big draw card. I'd rather we go with super talent no matter the age.. I mean he's probably already 20 times the player DCL is (not hard). If we let Cenk go I'd like to see another good striker come in, maybe an older one we'll see.

Would be a good future replacement for Sigurdsson in like 2 years (he can't join til 2020 when he turns 18) because he's now 29, 30 just after the season starts.

Failed Liverpool medical last year and now can only secure a cut price move to Betis. Maybe he’s one knee injury away from retirement?

I'm at least as interested in how Real Betis can keep attracting some pretty impressive players even though they don't have Quique Setien any more - the manager who is largely the reason for their great results in the last couple of years
