Lo Celso not included in Bet's squad to travel to Mexico, despite apparently reporting back to training already. Lot of reports saying we've agreed a fee for 50-60m euros. Too much smoke around this now to think it's not close.

Fair play to Daniel Levy if this does go through in dropping the best part of 120m on the weakest area of our squad.
Our lineup by end of week could be quite good

Lloris
Aurier Alder Vert Rose
Ndombele
Eriksen Lo Celso
Dele
Kane Son

Lucas
Sanchez
Sessegnon
Davies
Winks
Dier
Gazzaniga

Arsenal have got to be pleased with their window if those signings all come off, especially when you consider the £45m thing. They’ll be quietly confident of finishing back in the top four next season.

I’m not sure we are a club that would be considering getting players in on loan though. Think the project is more long term than that. You don’t rent a property when you can afford to buy. Just my take

Haha yeah. I honestly can't believe that it looks like we'll be keeping Eriksen. I thought he was surely gone. Gives us a shitload of depth and formation optoons in the midfield and attack, especially as he and Ndombele are both capable of playing different roles in there. Think it will be Foyth or KWP for Aurier though and Davies or Sessegnon for Rose, who i think will go.

I’d actually seriously consider Dele’s Position under threat. At this stage I’d rather have Moura starting ahead of him. He needs to hit the ground running this season

Will help him a lot not having to fill in all over the place with injuries everywhere, including to himself, like he did last season. With what should be a plethora of options in midfield, he should be able to get back to where he's at his best, which is as near as Kane as possible. Also, I don't think Son and Lucas are suited to playing in the same team, myself.

Ol' Serge is an interesting player... I actually think he will be sold and agree Foyth will start in his place.

Sessegnon is a terrific young player.

I hope Bale comes back, that would make the prem very interesting indeed.

i'd almost go sissoko and ndombele behind a front 4 of Son Kane Eriksen and Lo Celso in a 4-2-3-1.

I like your thinking in your original post, but at this stage it looks like a best case scenario. Rose I think is 90% certain to go and we really don’t know about Eriksen and Toby yet. On the other hand you completely omitted Sissoko who I reckon will still have a big part to play this season.

Bale would be nuts in a front 3 with Kane and Son.

Sissoko Eriksen Ndombele Lo Celso

perhaps?

Umm I'm talking off field/poisonous atmosphere etc (my speciality).

Chelsea v Spurs has the most venom of any of the London prem derbies.

Obvio Spuz v Arsenal is good, but it's a bit of a Sunday kick around these days.

Note: I support neither club so can be neutral, much better atmosphere at spuz.
Us against any of Chelsea/Arsenal/West Ham will be similar in regards to hatred and stuff between fans over there imo

The old west ham was an intense ground to attend, absolutely terrible part of town etc, I'm not sure they exhibit any predjudice, they hate everyone.

343 works well with that team, most argy managers like to go with the 4231 though, certainly the best ones like Gallardo, Mo Po, Simeone or Bielsa etc

Could see Son coming off the bench and them playing Sanchez tbh.

Thing is too. 120m wouldn't even scratch the PL and TV money. That'd be not much more than what we earned from the UCL.

Transfer fees are not the problem for most PL clubs now - certainly those in the CL. It’s the wages that cause the difficulties in staying within FFP.

I remember when we bid for Pepe before it was cool..

In one of the biggest and most anticipated moves of the summer, it looks like we've finally found a buyer for Janssen. Had a medical with Monetrey in Mexico apparently.

We send all our rejects to Mexico too. Blokes who are ordinary dominate that terrible league.

Done deal

7m euros. Bargain in this day and age :)

I reckon they did well, he's only worth $3m
