Do United need to buy a new striker if Lukaku goes or will they just go with Martial or Rashford up top?

Im not sold on Rom being a good buy for how Sarri wants to play, but he may only be there for short time anyway and suit the next guy better. Conte still cant get his man.

Not sure if Atleti is genuinely in for Lo Celso now that James is apparently off the table or if the rumour is just a negotiating tactic by Betis

There was some talk Napoli had Lo Celso in their sights as well after missing out on Pepe - if I was Betis negotiating I'd be using the team that just missed out on the big signing your rival just made as the trigger point so maybe there is some merit to Atletico.

Yes we do.
We are playing a front 3 these days.

way too much but i dont give a fu**. We need him. Get it ******* done!
shouldn't the people who get paid to get these transfers done, find a better soloution to this like um i don't know buying a player for less than £90 million but is actually better than maguire? Because that is a very valid and real option or have they got the interns working on this deal at manchester?

We are talking about Ed here, doesn't operate that way :)

I really like Maguire, would be brilliant for us but he isn't worth 90m but if we have to pay that to have him starting ahead of Phil Jones or Chris Smalling then pay it

I swear Juve are doing this deal just to p**s off Marotta and Conte, and therefore hurt Inter's plans
Yep let’s cut off our nose to spite our face.

Lukaku has been a consistent goal scorer for his entire career and is still only 26. He’s scored over 100 PL goals. His patchy form at United has just as much to do with the team than with him personally.

Dybala is extremely talented but has never been consistent.

I really don’t see the deal being as one sided as everyone is making out.
If it’s a straight swap I don’t see the problem value wise I just think Dybala is better suited to Sarri ball than Lukaku. This swap would have been perfect for last season when our gameplan was cross to the far post.

Also I don’t Lukaku being suited to the Italian league is really relevant. Other than maybe beating up more on the smaller clubs he’s gonna not going to have an easier time against Koulibaly and Manolas or Godin, Skrinriar and De Vrij.

Honestly i don't get it at all.

If utd. are willing to spend £90 million on a cb they should be aiming a little bit higher than harry maguire, that kind of money buys you a top 3 cb in the world in there prime.

"I am not in charge and I know nothing about the situation of my players," he said.
"I am only coaching them and trying to get the best from them. Sell, buy players, sign contract, not sign contract - I think it is not in my hands, it's in the club's hands and (chairman) Daniel Levy.

"The club need to change my title and description. Of course I am the boss deciding the strategic play, but in another area I don't know. Today, I feel like I am the coach."

He sounds a bit frustrated.
Total bollocks. When it was all going swimmingly he negotiated a title and role change from head coach to manager, and went on the transfer committee.
Now that things are taking time it's deflect to the chairman time.

IMV he's just frustrated with journalists asking questions so frequently about things he can't give updates on.

Unless he's struggling with the balance of coach/manager wanting a player and thinking long term with regards to other targets, list balance, etc.

quietly fairly happy with Ndombele replacing the hole Dembele left.
If Foyth is RB, then Aurier is back up and KWP can continue to develop.
Vert, Alder, Sanchez - good core, with backups in Foyth, Dier, maybe Davies.
Winks Ndombele Eriksen Dele with Kane and Son upfront, Sissoko, Lamela & Lucas in reserve. Not to mention Dier, Vic & Skipp in emergency situations

Sign Sess. Replace Eriksen/Alder/Rose if they go.
Maybe monitor Bale situation in the event a cut-price fairy tale is on the cards.

Surely Burnley is not thinking about putting Joe Hart back in goal. They were in the bottom 3 for the majority of the first half of last season while Hart was in goal.
