You have to be right at least once to have a track record though.Correct.
Still amusing considering his track record though.

Very true that. Maybe he'll shock us all and actually get something right one of these days. You have to be right at least once to have a track record though.
He's the Tom Morris/Damien Barrett/Jon Ralph/Craig Hutchison of the UK.Very true that. Maybe he'll shock us all and actually get something right one of these days.
We're apparently after Albian Ajeti from Basel (think he scored against United in the Champs League) and Santiago Ascaicibar who's an Argentinian DM who plays for Stuttgart and is pretty highly rated.
If we could get those 2 plus Cardoso, I'd be pretty happy with our window.

Was thinking more Tom Browne myself...He's the Tom Morris/Damien Barrett/Jon Ralph/Craig Hutchison of the UK.
Apparently Rooney is going to sign with Derby County as a player/coach
Getting people from the Portuguese league is fraught with Danger.. similar with the Eredivisie. I mean look at Ricky Van Wolfswinkel. Bas Dost also proves it after last season - banging in goals for fun but couldn't do that in Germany. Then you have Slimani for Leicester recently.
The reports seem to suggest that Eriksen is open to a move to United, so I could see that happening. Disagree that it would be a good deal for us though. In the way we play under Pochettino, Eriksen has probably been the most important player since Pochettino's been manager, and I don't see Fernandes as a like-for-like replacement. I'd rather Lo Celso in that role as well as someone like Fernandes, but I just can't see it happening in the space of four days.United linked with Eriksen again, wonder if Spurs will sell and bring in Fernandes. Would be a good deal for both clubs.
I'd love Fernandes.
Dost wasn't terrible in Germany but he wasn't consistent either and Slimani was ruined by injuries. Either way though you're right about those two being suspect to get players from.
If we get Fernandes and Lo Celso in then letting Eriksen go makes sense. If it’s just one in though then then that’s not really moving us forward you’d thinkThe reports seem to suggest that Eriksen is open to a move to United, so I could see that happening. Yeah, completely agree. Losing Eriksen and not replacing would be a genuine disaster. Losing him and replacing with Fernandes is probably goign backwards, while replacing him with Lo Celso will be treading water. If we get Fernandes and Lo Celso in then letting Eriksen go makes sense. Rare exceptions, but for those guys you can find another 20 that didn't work.Ronaldo and Suarez go ok
The only positive is that we need new blood - the current crop need a shake up plus Eriksen himself looks like he needs a change of scenery. If Levy really wanted to push our club forward he’d bring in both players though, but we know he won’t.Yeah, completely agree. Losing Eriksen and not replacing would be a genuine disaster. The only business I'm confident that we'll get done though is Sessegnon. Everything else seems to hinge on Eriksen at this stage.
Thinking about Fernandes and Lo Celso deals, I’m pretty sure there’s no chance of it being both. Probably a ruse by Levy to make Betis accept a lower offer on Lo Celso.
Assume Sessegnon signs, starting line up:Yeah, completely agree. Losing Eriksen and not replacing would be a genuine disaster. Losing him and replacing with Fernandes is probably goign backwards, while replacing him with Lo Celso will be treading water.

Ah he deleted it because he was getting trolled hard. Basically he wrote about Kolscelny leaving and wondering if they were going to receive payments in installments.. a reference to the Pepe one when he was saying they only had 45m to spend so how could they afford him and the other guy. He's totally on melt mode.Kaveh didn't do it again did he?
