City thoughI still don't get it.
Walker in his prime and they just signed another RB?

If United sell Lukaku and don’t replace him then I think they look weaker than they did at the start of the window, even with the defensive reinforcements. That’s over 40 goals in the last two seasons gone, and they weren’t exactly free scoring at the best of times.
Dyabla would be the big fat cherry on the top of our window if it happens. Biggest statement signing in a generation for us - probably since Klinsmann.Lo Celso and Sessegnon sound like they're all but done. Personally, I'm extremely excited about both.
Dybala is the potential real statement signing though. I find it interesting that the Guardian journo is the only one going with wages being an issue. Others, including apparently reliable Argie journos, are saying that personal terms are all but agreed and the difficulty lies in the image rights situation. Whatever happens, this will definitely be one to keep an eye on tonight.
Won't lie that I've completely lost myself in the excitement of this one though. It would be so monumental for us for a number of different reasons. It would signify a real shift in our attitude as a club imo.
Lo Celso and Dybala would be history repeating and if it happens it would be class if the social team paid tribute to this:

Sessegnon has pretty much been done for some time. Not sure what the hold up was. Will be a good signing but it kinda depends if we keep Rose. Rose with Sess as back up is a lot more inticing than having the inexperienced Sess fight it out with the very average Ben Davies for the left back positionThe Independent is reporting that Ryan Sessegnon is on his way to Tottenham after Fulham accepted a £25m ($45m AUD) offer for the left-back/winger.
Huge window for Spurs as well.

yeah but you starting him over Laporte, Stones and otamendi?I think he's transitioning to CB sometimes.
Lol.City though
True, then again its city they don't have an academy. No, but you can't just have 1 29 year old RB.

Hmm freeing up funds this window for another deal perhaps ...

Feel sorry for Lukaku - great first season and then the 2nd season was blighted with injuries and then didn't fit into OGS losing style.
Or not have a really bad manager take over the helm. Unfortunately they did.He also had some mental health issues earlier on and really never recovered from missing those games. I'm a big fan of Rom and I think this is the right move for him, United needed to build the team for him.
I'm sure I read something about Fernandinho spending more time as a CB too recently, with Rodri taking his spot.

Utd. Will struggle imo, too heavy a reliance on incosistent players like rashford and martial who will struggle to score 20 goals for the season between them going by there previous form.
Lingard is a joke and sanchez is finished as a top level player and with a spud manager who they recruited from the league in norway they'll be worse than chelsea this season, good chance to drop out of top six altogether
Dybala can’t play on the right, he’s got to be in the middle or you’re wasting your time.Sess, Dybala & Coutinho in (even with Eriksen out) at Spurs confuses me even more about what system Poch will use.
Dele, Dybala, Coutinho, Son and Kane all in the same 11...
perhaps a 4-2-3-1
Lloris
Aurier Alder Vert Sess
Dele Ndombele
Dybala Coutinho Son
Kane
Winks perhaps rotates starts with Ndombele
