Correct buddy, I don’t watch Ligue 1. So I can’t comment too much about him recently, outside of the odd CL game I catch. His numbers though are seriously impressive, that’s a hell of an output to maintain over his European career.

In all seriousness, Cavani has a very impressive goal scoring record but I have watched plenty of PSG matches and hearing from other supporters, he is pretty horrible in front of goal and that is what I have seen with my own eyes too. That’s why I was never thrilled with United being linked to him despite needing a goal scorer. We will hopefully do better than Cavani in the summer.

Which is a problem when we are reported up against the La Liga wage cap.

They do have a good defense but yeah, can definitely say that their defense has let down this season. Crazy that they’re leading scorers in the top flight by nearly a dozen goals and they’re so far behind in the league.

That's your problem IMO. Most supporters sensationalise things and tend to jump between extremes in their valuations of players.

There's no denying that Cavani's finishing can be erratic in front of goal, no one is saying he's a perfect player, but you can't argue with the sheer amount of goals he's scored at all levels. Plenty of top goal scorers have a tendency to burn chances, looking at your own team and you'd know that Marcus Rashford is a prime example of this, is he a donkey in front of goal too?
