We are one of the losers. Whilst I am very happy with Bruno Fernandes, we needed 2 more signings and didn't get close.

Ambition is hardly the issue here. United and Chelsea are struggling to find someone suitable.

Bidding on King who was from the academy and hardly anything more than a bench filler for united, not to mention Bournemouth won't sell given they may need him to stay up. Chelsea going for a cheap option in an ageing Mertens.

Neither have the added problem that we have, hard convincing guys to come and sit on the bench while the England captain plays.
That my friend is a bloody hard sell.
