Sancho from last season to now has played 57 Bundesliga games for 26 goals and 33 assists. I think he has shown enough consistency to indicate that he will be one of the best wingers/wide forwards for the next 10 years. Anyone willing to pay €100 million plus will get what they are paying for.

Given a) Sancho’s age, b) the form he’s producing at senior level, c) his goal scoring/assist record which is fantastic, d) the exponential growth of the transfer market in recent years (ie, Coutinho for £140m), and e) being English (which usually comes with a premium), then £130m+ sounds very plausible and realistic.

I can’t fault Dortmund for wanting that or more. What a player is “worth” is subjective, no one can really say anymore aside from what one particular club is willing to pay. That’s what the player is worth to them.

My original point was purely that there is no margin for error with his transfer fee being so high.

I hope he moves, as I like watching the best week in and week out in the EPL. I sincerely hope he goes well.

I also hope he can perform to the level of that fee, or else the knives will be out fairly quickly ala Pogba.

My only issue with Sancho is that Mkhitaryan put up similar numbers for Dortmund and he was shite in the prem.

Mkhitaryan - 140 matches, 41 goals, 49 assists.
Sancho - 89 matches, 31 goals, 42 assists.

Sancho's stats look significantly better and most of all, Mkhitaryan joined Dortmund at the age of 24, in his 7th season of professional football. Sancho joined Dortmund when he was 17 and took it from there.

Oh absolutely. I think myki had like 25 goals and 20 assists or something ludicrous in his last season with Dortmund which skewed his overall stats significantly. I rate Sancho v highly but will always have a bit of caution. I guess I saw it with Kagawa a bit too, not that Sancho would struggle with the pace of the prem like he did.

I don’t watch the Bundesliga to know but I will say he’s not impressed me when he’s played for England thus far. To put up those stats though must mean there’s a very good player there and probably goes to show what a mediocre manager Gareth Southgate remains.

He's still only 19, turning 20 in 2 weeks time...He'd need to both deal with & adapt to the greater physicality in the Premier League. Not to mention having less time to use the ball.

Awesome! Jude Bellingham sounds like the greatest footballer most people have never watched.

It's all About signing up the best British junior talent….Isn't that right Pants? ;) ...The kid won't turn 17 till the end of June.

I've never been against signing the best British talent, just don't agree with the idea to ignore other talent and only focus on British. As you're well aware I'm as into Grealish and Sancho as anyone.
Bellingham if we sign him will be an exciting purchase although the prices being bandied around is concerning so someone so young and not even playing at the top level.

He'll come alot cheaper than Sancho & is clearly ear-marked as our future right-winger....assuming we land him....The kids strength & balance with the ball at his feet is quite something for his age, up against grown men.

Are you talking about Bellingham? He isn't a winger, he is a CM.

Started off on the wing & has moved into CM of late....He has all the right tools for the wing.

Reaching. He isn't a winger and he 100% isn't being pursued to play RW as a cheaper option to Sancho.

It's not the disagreeing with me, it's the factually incorrect info you come up with.

It's factually correct that Bellingham has toured our facilities & that Sancho will more than likely remain in the Bundesliga for 2020/2021.

Deal with dem facts my precious.
