You're getting quite irrational and alarmist, suggests you're struggling a bit.

Why do you say that? Rather unkind judgement to make.
Alarmist? Now you are sounding like Lebbo.

Whether I’m struggling or not doesn’t change the fact that talking about transfers shows a level of delusion that I’ve rarely seen on here. Harsh as it may have sounded I can only put it down to you living in a country that has managed thus far to avoid a serious corona outbreak.

And the day you show any concern or even a degree of compassion for someone on this board is the day I might change my mind about you. All you ever do though is start pedantic shitfights every day and try and pick holes in every poster you encounter. Which is pretty ironic seeing as you see yourself as part of the compassionate caring left

Isn't the Bundesliga starting up again in the next month?

They’re looking into it. But Merkel has said today that they’re coming out of lockdown too fast and is looking to rein it back in. Bear in mind Germany have handled the whole thing far better than the UK has anyway thus far. If they start getting lapse though it will change

Go start a pedantic shit fight about people discussing transfers in a transfer discussion thread.

Harry Kane is coming to United mate. Cheers 🍻

I’ve said it on our board, but Kane has totally derailed our last two seasons with serious injuries. Somehow we managed to make a CL final during one but that aside both seasons we fell apart domestically. It’s more than likely an injury prone player and we’d actually probably seriously consider selling for £200m because that would be a muppet offer now. But he won’t be signing for United, because hey, there’s gonna be **** all done in the market over the summer. Don’t believe the click bait articles it’s just journos trying to make a living at this time

Imagine talking about transfers in the transfer thread

With the arse falling out of the market, then I can see Man Utd being one of the few teams capable of signing new players. We can thereby offer all those other in-debited clubs some debt relief, by taking their best players off their hands.....Hmmm, Yes.

Our superior attendance capacity & merchandising selling power due to international popularity, means we're far better placed to off-set such a tragedy.

Might as well send Kane over to us now & make some $$$ while you still can. Got to pay for that new stadium somehow.

Before you splash millions out on players you’d be better off fixing your dilapidated stadium. Didn’t some poor bloke recently lose his life in there because of some loose masonry or something

'Tottenham might struggle to spend'
The impact of the coronavirus could also have profound implications for Tottenham and their ability to spend in the transfer market, according to Comolli.

While the Frenchman has predicted difficulties for the vast majority of Premier League clubs, the added burden of managing the cost of their £1billion Tottenham Stadium could present an additional headache for Daniel Levy.

Comolli believes Spurs will have to be cautious, likening their situation to that of fierce rivals Arsenal in the years following the opening of the Emirates.

Attendance capacity doesn't count for much when games are behind closed doors.

Plus season tickets are dirt cheap in Manchester because they are skint campaigners. London clubs with decent capacity stadiums (so Chelsea not included) make more per match than United. Actually scrub West Ham from that because they sell cheap tickets also

Remains to be seen whether or not that will continue to be the case come re-commencement....Personally I don't see the point of it without crowds.

Dirt cheap? Not really. Manchester clubs just don't rip off their supporters like Arsenal do.

Doubt there will be crowds at sporting events in the next 12 months.
