Alot cheaper I'd imagine (Especially if Villa are relegated) & a proven performer in the Premier League to boot.
Yeah, Sanchos not going anywhere in this financial climate so Grealish will be a good fall back option. Not that they play the same position

When you look at it, you could sign a two month extension and do a cruciate in the first game back.

It's a risk for an out of contract player, especially as injuries are more likely with limited pre-season.

Lol. Is that Jackson Irvine in your photo? Reckon the non-ponytailed, mountain scaling specimen in mine is a better footballer.

You and Procrastinator need new material or better glasses.

The discussion was about Grealish and Sancho. If you can't participate in that discussion without boring deflections then don't bother.

Yes, thanks for starting the discussion with your highly analytical input. Very great starting point for a ‘discussion’. Im sure you watch a lot of both players and are a premier source to provide answers with your succinct quips.

The original poster summed it up best. They are very, very different players so comparing them or pulling out ‘shit’ remarks is pointless. So please forgive me for not engaging in serious discussion.

Grealish isn't in the same conversation as Sancho so didn't deserve more analysis than I gave him.

Jackson Irvine is neither one of those players so was not in the conversation, funnily enough, but your need to pot him told me all I needed to know about your ability to formulate a point of rebuttal.

He will join LFC jod23 pronounced.
Humble pie time
Not just me, everybody thought so. Looks like the pandemic has certainly changed things and he is off to Chelsea. A shame for us. I mean we still have the best front three in world football, but him coming in gave us such great depth and massive step up from Div.

Not to be though. Makes for an interesting summer now. Maybe we're just broke? No idea whats going on.

Can someone please aware me how Liverpool are low on funds after winning the champions league and not making a major signing in almost two years?
Yeah im super confused too. Surely we cant go another summer without bolstering the squad. Although we have won the league so I dont know... I'm not complaining haha.

I was really hoping Liverpool supporters could shed some light but it's interesting to hear that you're just as befuddled

Yep, couldn't afford Werner but are all in on Traore who will cost 20-30m more due to no release clause?? Because Klopp once said he was unplayable. Makes sense!!

I wish we had Liverpool’s problem. Liverpool won the CL last season and the following season they end up coming back to win the league by a hundred million points and depending on what happens Liverpool could come back next season with one of the best squads in England even if everyone else improves their squad and Liverpool don’t.

One of the reasons that Man U were so good at the start of Sir Alex's reign was that he got a group of players that played together all the time and knew how each other was playing without looking. Nowadays if you don't win immediately then the club spends stupid money to get really good players in, even if they don't fit the system. Half the times it just looks like one-upmanship to get someone that another high profile wanted. They then take a few months to acclimatise to their new surroundings and teammates by which time the seasons half over and they are labelled duds.
Liverpool have kept mainly the same squad, with the same manager, for the last 2-3 years with the occasional 1 or 2 players changing over to cover for holes, eg. Allison and VVD. Therefore they have trained with the same people and the same system for a long time. Like my team, Wolves, they buy players to fit the system. You don't need lots of players, just the right ones.
