I've also seen Havertz play as a false 9 a few times which could be interesting. You could use him like we use Firmino, dropping into the hole to collect the ball with 2 of Werner/Ziyech/Pulisic playing the Salah/Mane roles making those diagonal runs into the space he vacates.

In a false 9 system with Havertz in the middle, Werner wouldn’t be pinned to a wing. Look at how frequently Mané & Salah find themselves driving into the area. Remember David Villa playing ’wide’ in Barça’s 4-3-3?
