De Gea's decline has been blown way out of proportion. It makes sense though when he'd been performing at such a high level for so long that his mistakes are going to draw a lot more attention. Particularly from opposition fans who become accustomed to seeing him single handedly deny their teams of three points over the years.

Personally I'm a tad concerned about the frequency and impact of the errors which have crept into his game but it isn't happening anywhere near as often as people seem to think. I don't think he's in any danger of losing his spot to Henderson just yet and I think the competition will actually do him some good.

Going by peoples responses on here you’d think DDG is bloody Karius.

He’s still an exceptional keeper.

I get that you wouldn’t replace Oblak with De Gea but ******* hell, DDG is the Lovren of keepers?
agree. the guy known by his initials with shit looking outdated facial hair fashion is far too clumsy and error prone to be compared with CL winner Lovren.

La Liga president Javier Tebas on Lionel Messi at 20-21 launch: "We were worried but not seriously. We want Messi to be with us, he is best player in history of football + we want him to end his career in La Liga. We're pleased he is staying with us + not going to another league"

Beautiful syntax there Mr Jocks....& bang out of place on this board....Never knew you had it in you mate.

The trouble is that both DeGea & Hendo's form, ranking & performances, are heading in the polar-opposite directions to each other....Indeed, DeGea's fall from grace has seem him slide off all the high-performing G/K charts completely. While Hendo continues to climb them with a bullet.

Ole obviously knows this, otherwise he'd of let Hendo walk.

The one great mystery remains as to why Ole's hanging onto the liability - in DeGea - at all.

You think he would be allowed to let the 23 year old national keeper walk?

Love how every United fan blows De Gea out of proportion and ignores Henderson's errors.

Congratulations to Dejan Lovren for being in the squad that won the champions league, with one group stage appearance and another in the quarter final, he was one of Liverpool’s best during that CL campaign. That’s like Jonathan Greening going around telling everyone that he was more important than Roy Keane and Paul Scholes during the 1999 Champions League final because he was the only one of the three that could have made an appearance.
