Some reports that Sancho to United is done.

We should hope that at the very least United have remembered that the most important part of any player transfer is to offer the selling club a fee after spending the last several weeks negotiating with Sancho, his family and his agent.

Sounds like Ivanovic to West Brom is done too. Good luck to him but he was finished a while ago. Maybe if he plays CB he'll be alright.

Reeks of Ferdinand at QPR. Ivanovic was cooked in 2016, he'd be charcoal now.

We won’t pay that for someone who made last seasons La Liga team of the season? United are really about to start the new season with only Van De Beek as the only new sighing.

Happy we've secured Henderson also....Not to mention up to a dozen Top Juniors from all over Europe.

Real's insistence on a buy-back clause, makes signing Regulion a self-defeating move in the long-term.

Left back aint exactly our most pressing need ATM....Far from it.

I would agree that it’s not our “most pressing need”. That would be CB and RW (the real last signing for the position was Antonio Valencia crazily enough) but I would say that LB is still important and now we look to be gifted a quality footballer in the position. Luke Shaw can’t be relied upon for an entire season and Brandon Williams can’t continue to be played out of position at LB, so a LB is still very important if United want to get back to the top and start competition for silverware on a regular basis. Whether or not United buy a LB, the positions of need will still be RW, CB and LB until they’re all adequately filled.

Love stories like these. Reminds me of Leicester City.

2012/13 - Lose Playoff Semi in dramatic fashion (might have peaked early had they been promoted that season).
2013/14 - Promoted
2014/15 - Stay in the PL after being in 20th position after MD 29 by winning 7 of their final 9 league matches.
2015/16 - Win the PL

From Optus:

Now that's how you flex a signing. 🔥

Everton splashed James Rodriguez across Times Square, Miami Beach, Merseyside and Colombian capital Bogota to celebrate his arrival.

James has the 8th-biggest social media following of any sportsperson on the planet - 95.8 MILLION FOLLOWERS.

Only Beckham, Ronaldinho, Kohli, Lebron James, Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo have more.

In the 48 hours since announcing the midfielder, Everton have reached more than 400 million people around the world.

Wow. That's the global footprint of the world game. ⚽
