Salah becomes the latest Liverpool player linked with a move to Barcelona.

Let me break it down. His friend said that Salah would like to go to Barcelona and when pressed to reveal his source, he said
“I can’t. I am not going into any more details, but just believe me that I know.”

So Salah has practically told his friend to put a rumour out there so he can get a pay rise from Liverpool.

Window still open until Oct 5. They had a lot of players go to Ibiza for a holiday who all got covid, most of it has cleared up by now but they have had no pre season.

They'll still buy someone likely although money alone is no longer enough to attract big names to PSG.

I love that part of the tweet that says ‘negotiating a fee isn’t that straight forward.’ Its super straight forward tbh. Pay the asking fee in the given timeframe. As a teacher, I couldn’t have been more clearer to my students if I said this

Havertz, Ziyech, Jorginho, Kante, Mount, Pulisic, Kovacic, Loftus-Cheek, Barkley, Moses, Gilmour, Bakayako, Drinkwater.

Then competing still with Anjorin, Baker and Musonda.

He's never developing at Chelsea now. It's just a loan army mentality.

Sherwood actually discussed this in one of the pregames on the weekend. He compared it to when Tottenham bought up after Bale.

The by product is it shuts the door on a whole heap of academy prospects, he mentioned how it destroyed the morale of Tottenham's academy because it became a dead end for a lot of them without any visible route to first team football at the club.

I'm sure you would get a decent sell on % in there.

If the kids are good enough(like Mount, Tammy, James, Christensen, CHO etc) theyll get game time. We'll still be using the youf with Frank and more importantly Jody Morris involved.

I doubt Gallagher wants to be sold anyway and still has dreams of playing senior football at Chelsea. If he has a good season he'll get a chance next season.

I can't see us loaning anyone without an option after Ben White and Palace is off the table given they just loaned Bats. Personally that would be my preference rather than a permanent straight away anyway.

Can't see him wanting to go to West Brom (who seem to be the other interested) and if Bielsa genuinely wants him as a rotation option behind Klich, I'd say that would be a pretty desirable option for a 20 year old kid, especially as Klich is 30 years old.
