I think Ronaldo to United can make sense on the pitch and even financially, I’m just not sure how it would fit in with any Pogba deal. He’s 35 and I think has 18 months left on his Juve deal? I don’t think they’d be looking anything unrealistic in the way of a transfer if they are happy for him to go.

If it ends up being Pogba to Juve with a player/players coming the other way, United should make sure they’re getting a longer term first team option in return.

Regardless, the clause exists. If the supposed 100m includes agents fees which is no surprise with Raiola involved it means nothing got Dortmund.
