Utd is a step sideways for Kane realistically. Gotta be either City or PSG if he leaves with Bayern a possible but unlikely 3rd choice. Spurs wont sell to Chelsea and they've just spent 200m + in last summers window.

Why would Bayern be interested when they already have the worlds best striker? Regardless of Lewy's age, it's not happening.

2nd is greater than 6th so it's still a step up. United can offer CL football too unlike spurs.

Roman might spend big again he is a free spirit

You know what makes good sides better? Buying great players. Harry Kane going to United can only be a good thing for the club.

She's the one who will hand in the transfer request when Kane gets there

Sure and she'll want to go to Spain or Italy.

Aren't all the Spanish clubs broke? And Inter are broke too. She'll go wherever there is interest in her husband and they can pay him and PSG what they're both after.

That's not true. Research her. She ain't going to the UK.

She is his agent? I must say I kept hearing that Mauro Icardi will only go where his wife says they will go and thought it was only a bit of a troll. I didn’t actually realize people were actually being serious about that Lol.

All fair points. You never know with Levy though. It's a real shame it's come to this for Spurs.. Any chance of you guys convincing him to stay or is he definitley gone?

I doubt it, if it's gone so far as to be leaked to the media.

Spurs have finished only three times in front of United since SAF retired and only once in the last four seasons.

2014 - Spurs 6th, United 7th

2015 - United 4th, Spurs 5th

2016 - Spurs 3rd, United 5th

2017 - Spurs 2nd, United 6th

2018 - United 2nd, Spurs 3rd

2019 - Spurs 4th, United 6th

2020 - United 3rd, Spurs 6th

2021 - United 2nd, Spurs 6th

Your maths is not on point. Care to revise your statement?

Spurs have not won a single trophy in that time and United has 3, FA Cup, League Cup and a Europa league Cup.

Oh wow. You beat Southampton and Crystal Palace by the odd goal in domestic cup finals and 'won' the Europa League after being knocked out of the Champions League.

Technically we made a Champions League final and you won a nonsense Europa League, so that makes you 'winners'? Alrighty then.

Fun fact - the 86 points we accrued in 2016-17 would have won the Premier League in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2011 & 2016. But chokers, bridesmaids, also-rans, yada yada yada.

Not sure how you think Spurs have gone past United. One of the most delusional takes on Spurs I have come across.

We finished above you four times in six seasons and were treated to the sight of Gary Neville on live TV practically begging Pochettino to leave Spurs and save United.

What would you call it?

Utd is at least a level above spurs. Delusional to think otherwise

So I am one off and it's 4 a piece? Big deal, point stands in the last four seasons you've finished once in front of us, Spurs have gone passed United, get your hand off of it. Maybe you're the one who should re-evaluate your comment.

Belittle the trophies as much as you want, the facts are they are trophies won by United whilst Spurs have won zero. I can get why you would belittle them as you have forgotten what it looks like for Spurs to win one.

Fun fact, Spurs have won **** all.

Even we've won a trophy.

Why are you talking about the past in a future transfer discussion.

Imho spurs didn't go past them they just had couple decent seasons.

Ugh.

How short is your attention span? Seriously?

So I am one off and it's 4 a piece?

I said in the last eight years we've finished above you as often as not.

That is a factual statement, which you erroneously tried to correct. Very foolish to correct someone when you're ignorant of the facts. And instead of owning it, you're doubling down.

Big deal, point stands in the last four seasons you've finished once in front of us, Spurs have gone passed United, get your hand off of it.

In a sporting sense, we had gone past United.

Transitory perhaps, a moment in time, but nonetheless true.

Maybe you're the one who should re-evaluate your comment.

Me thinks you're spoiling for a pissing contest over which the biggest club is.

I'm not saying that Spurs are bigger than United. I'm not saying they ever were.

All I said is that, for a couple of year period there, we had gone past you in a sporting sense.

Now if you're aiming to compete, what message does it send to your fans if you're selling your talisman to a direct rival? Are we saying that we think we should aim for 5th and call ourselves best of the rest?

Do you honestly think Spurs fans are going to say "oh, fair enough if Kane wants to leave for Man U?". If so, you haven't been paying attention the last eight years.

Belittle the trophies as much as you want, the facts are they are trophies won by United whilst Spurs have won zero. I can get why you would belittle them as you have forgotten what it looks like for Spurs to win one.

Uh huh.

I'd only ever belittle the trophies to the extent that someone would hang sh1t on Spurs for not winning one. Like finishing 1st in the Europa league outstrips finishing second in the Champions League.

I'm simply giving you the lay of the land as regards Tottenham fandom. Maybe the thought that we don't regard United as particularly special nowadays strikes a raw nerve with you.

But we're not the only ones thinking that. And it's based entirely on recent sporting merit. If you want to call that 'delusional', then go ahead.
