David Moyes is considering moves for Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard, if West Ham United stay in the Premier League.

The Scottish manager has gone a long way to securing the club’s status thanks to the recent 3-2 victory over Chelsea and the 2-2 draw with Newcastle United.

The expectation is that he would this time be allowed build on survival, unlike in 2018 when he was replaced by Manuel Pellegrini, and that has led Moyes to look to one of his former clubs.

Moyes worked with Jones and Lingard at Manchester United in 2013-14, and particularly sees the centre-half as an option that could lift his team’s quality.

Tbf Lingard is one for the future and Jones will go down as one of the best defenders in history. West Ham to challenge for the title if they secure the pair

Moyes has actually been studying the RB Leipzig model and wants us to sign younger hungrier players from the championship, the likes of Eze from QPR, Benrahima from Brentford, Matty Cash and Joe Worrall from Forest and Robinson from Wigan.
