Everyone is some way off Liverpool but you wouldn’t say that City absolutely won’t win the title next season, would you? Liverpool most likely won’t have this type of league campaign again.

But we did have this kind of league campaign last season too? No reason we can't do it again next season.

Won't rule out City no which is a fair point as they too are 25 points back but City just won the league amd have Pep and a slew of world class players which United dont have.

At this stage last season you had dropped 17 league points. This season, only 5. You have been ridiculously consistent this season, not that you weren’t last season in only losing one league fixture. You can replicate last season for sure but replicating this season again will be unlikely.

Who knows. This season has been amazing and unlikely to be repeated. But I can't see us suddenly dropping off and having a season of like 80 points next season. I think you'd still need 90+ to beat us next season which is unrealistic for United.
 
I honestly think that Chelsea and United aren't far off being able to challenge if they invest well enough, Chelsea already showing great signs there. Both clubs have some very exciting young players coming through right now that they'll be able to build around as well.

Made don't get me started. What an atrocious game we played. No disrespect to the Suns but I mean... it's the ****ing Suns. Now we gotta face Brisbane, Port and Richmond next three and Brissie without Gov. Not sure what to think of the Eagles at the minute.

Put it down to a bad result against a team who should be a lot better this year. The Suns will surprise a few. Rowell played a gem. They have some good young talent.

That last season was just as extraordinary from Liverpool despite you seemingly trying to say this season is a one-off. Thought that was clear.

I literally said that last season can be replicated in the post that you quoted. And it can, Liverpool had a great season and can have that type of season again. This season Liverpool are just on a higher level, which is why I would say this season is a one-off. To lose one league match is extraordinary (last season and so far this season, Liverpool have done that), but to not even draw twice is just ridiculous. I agree with you totally about last seasons campaign.

But my point is even if they replicate the previous season they'd still be well ahead in the title race! It requires City or another team having an even more freakish season as City did two years ago..

Every season is different & presents with it's own unique set of challenges…..Yes, you've been consistently good for 2 seasons now, but City still beat you in the title race last time round....You blokes had so much to prove & make-up for this season.

To suggest that any of the other Big 5 clubs won't be pushing you for all it's worth next year is just footballing naivete & silliness.
