Yeah, its nice to have an owner willing to put his own bucks back into the club.
Yes, but the merits of it all is what is in question. We’ve been down this road many times before though

petrodollars backed by the fall of the USSR?
A handful of oiligarchs made an absolute fortune while the majority of Russians lived in almost abject poverty. I’m sure they were thrilled to see one of their own building a super club in west London though with the countries dosh

united fans are still confused by the concept of an owner investing in a club.

instead of stealing millions and putting the team billions into debt

What's an owner?

What I find slightly sinister about Roman is how he’s literally never given an interview ever to anyone - not even his own clubs TV. He’s like some Blofeld character, beyond untouchable, not even reachable

He is mates with Putin and has the world's largest boat. (that has military capacity for shits and giggles and can fart smaller boats)

Why would he give interviews?

More fun dating supermodels nd playing real life football manager in cheat mode.

I am a leftie but as far as billionaires go he's. Pretty cool dude. Obviously the large scale exploitation of the Russian working class was. Bit shady by his dad.

Now the Saudis are buying teams it's the end game

About the only thing i can think of is the anti-semitism stuff he does with the club being a proud jew. Apart from that hes camera shy.

Is Sane not extending his deal the first time City have lost a player they didn't want to in the last 5-10 years? Can't think of many others.

That I agree with that we haven't challenged since SAF.

Takes more than just players to win a title the club also needs a great manager and to create a great culture at the club.
That's what I'm trying to say. I don't think United will be challenging for the title next season. It's really rare a team would go from 40 points off it to suddenly being right in the mix.

The squad still needs improving and you need to build a chemistry and a culture which isn't their yet under Ole.
