World class in football I guess is top three in your position in the world. Or top 5ish...Am I? All think I said is is a pretty good chance cfc or utd can win.
If they have some luck, spend some money wise etc. I don't see they as many many holes long term I could be wrong
The top2 are very strong but they have to do it again.
I don't like the above world class lists as a rating system cause it's not objective. Based on the whims of someone that's never been to a game. Not personal, they are a very common thing.
It's also a meaningless term. You here pogs is not wc yet there isn't many better 8s or guys that very v important in bossing world cups.
So. What is world class in football? Beat 50? Best 10 in position?
How many you reckon at United? For me someone who is world is someone who could play in any team.

AlissonWorld class in football I guess is top three in your position in the world. Or top 5ish...
Or how many of your players would get into the best current team in the world.
Actually for lols... give me your joint Liverpool/United XI
Not bad. I'd have something similar but I'd have Gomez in before Maguire who is too slow.Alisson
TAA Maguire VVD Robertson
Bruno Henderson Wijnaldum
Salah Firmino Mane
I went Henderson over Pogba for balance and Pogba is too inconsistent. On his day he starts in this team. His day does not come often enough. Firmino over Rashford, because right now, that's the best front three in football. Fabinho unlucky.
I forgot about Gomez, but VVD would easily cover Maguire's sluggishness. Not to mention two CBs where the shorter one is 6'4 is ridiculous! Not bad. I'd have something similar but I'd have Gomez in before Maguire who is too slow.
Gomez is a terrific young talent. Reads the game so well which offsets that he isn't the tallest of CBs but he's so quick and good on the ball. Excellent defender. I could just never have Maguire in my team. His defending on the goal from Spurs the other night was awful. He's just too big and slow.I forgot about Gomez, but VVD would easily cover Maguire's sluggishness. Not to mention two CBs where the shorter one is 6'4 is ridiculous!
Yeah but you're super biased lol.Gomez is a terrific young talent. Reads the game so well which offsets that he isn't the tallest of CBs but he's so quick and good on the ball. Excellent defender. Pogba should be, but doesnt have the mentality. DDG used to be. Bruno could be if he keeps improving, same as Rashford. How many you reckon at United?
Yeah I said only Pogba but consistency is a big worry and Bruno but Bruno still a lot to prove.Pogba should be, but doesnt have the mentality. DDG used to be. Bruno could be if he keeps improving, same as Rashford.
I guess none atm.

Lol.... what are you talking about. Alisson is probably the best GK in the world. Either him or Oblak. How many at Liverpool
Allison for example wouldn't get a game at City or Barca
And especially not at the sunny side of Madrid (or Belgium)
Nice bench option (like ddg/hendo)
In fact by that definition there is a very sounds argument no lfx is wc outside the swamp German
I'd prefer varane and marquhinos but each to his own
Agree on the others, but Firmino isnt for mineLol.... what are you talking about. Alisson is probably the best GK in the world. Either him or Oblak.
I already said earlier how many world class players Liverpool have... IMO it's 7. Ali, VVD, TAA, Robbo, Salah, Firm and Mane.
Firmino is, but needs the right system to flourish. His talent is undeniable IMO.Agree on the others, but Firmino isnt for mine

I agree he is a system player and he fits what Klopp wants, but he wouldnt be as effective elsewhere and that stops him from being WC for mine.Firmino is, but needs the right system to flourish. His talent is undeniable IMO.
PEALewandowski
Kane
Aguero
Suarez
Werner*
Mbappe*
Immobile
Not always playing as the CF*
Haaland??
Agree with this too.I agree he is a system player and he fits what Klopp wants, but he wouldnt be as effective elsewhere and that stops him from being WC for mine.
Yeah, i guess being effective in arguably the best team in the world atm goes a long way for him.Agree with this too.
I think Firmino is the exception to the rule. I get both sides to the argument.
Silly me. Started off thinking of CF's at CL clubs and forgot about bottom half clubs
