Itd be great to see Dortmund not sell their best assets.

Currently looks quite far fetched sadly

In fairness that hasn’t happened for a while. I don’t found dembele as a sale - that was just bullshit. But it’s always harder when

A) the players aren’t from Germany
B) get offered much higher wages elsewhere (84k fans every second week can only excite you so much)
C) get to choose London/Barcelona/Madrid/Milan/Munich over the Phoenixsee/Ruhr Valley

That’s why I’d love to sell Sancho and reinvest 100% into Havertz. He’d be much easier to keep long term.

I don't think we do, he looks a pretty good CB but I'm not sure he's much if at all an upgrade on Rudiger and Christensen. I guess the romance of coming back to Chelsea and playing with his best mate is appealing.

If we are buying a CB I'd rather we go top shelf.

De Bruyne is the one you feel that this decision could be huge for. He's 29 now and in his prime, to waste two years of his prime not competing for Europe's biggest prize would be negligent and I reckon he would definitely want out. You just wander how that would happen, how would he engineer a way out.
