Such a big influence that he's beaten us twice in the one game he's played against us.Sancho is the perfect addition.
A new cb wouldn't hurt but it's long down the list imo
1. Sancho
2. New matic
3. Shaw upgrade
4. New lindelof / Bailey
He has beat city twice and Chelsea

Has there ever been a player so single-handedly transform a side, as quickly as Bruno has done at Man United?
Carlos Tevez at West Ham. United go from 6th to 5th. Wowee, transformation completed.
R9 at InterThe question was about whether there has ever been someone come in and make an impact for a team as quickly as Fernandes has done.
Tevez is a terrible example in this case. No one can deny he had a tremendous impact by single handedly keeping West Ham in the top flight....but that was after a brief patch of scoring form at the tail end of the season. Tevez was fairly poor initially and took a while to get going for West Ham.

I’ll throw VVDs name up.
We were a pretty average side (4th-8th placed finishes in recent years) that let in 50 goals a season. Mid-season Coutinho left and VVD signed which was a huge boost to our defence and we made the CL final. (Then became champions of England/Europe/World in the 2 seasons following.)
That may be, but Bayern do have a bit of a track record of getting National Team quality players for free besides Lewa (Goretza, Rudy, Nubel etc)Don't think so. Clubs don't want to lose a 100m asset for free.
Havertz. Sancho. You'd think a sale will happen. Lwksi situations are quite rare

Leave Chilwell where he is, sign those two for cheaper combined and sell Alonso and Emerson. Problems on the left all fixed
Agreed.
Van Dijk is definitely an example of this. I'm not the one saying these things are unheard of. I just think that ADL is way off in saying that many have been able to have such an instant positive impact on their teams.
There are countless examples of players who hit the ground running and improve their side immediately. The question is just whether Bruno is more flash in the pan like Papiss Cisse/Roque Santa Cruz, or the real deal like a Kante or Van Dijk.

Sign two sell two or sign one sell one or sign none sell none there is going to be competition for spots, thats whathappens at big clubs.Would both want to fight for the position though?
I think these Thiago rumours are just that, rumours. He's way outside the parameters of what FSG look for in recruitment.
Well the parameters are what got us here in the first place. It would be folly to change them.Surely the parameters are not set in stone. As the team becomes more successful it's normal to have higher goals.
Thiago would improve lfc
