COVID + 1 year left on contract, 29 years old so not that unreasonable. Haven't heard too many credibile sources saying this is on though tbh. I'd be very happy if we got Thiago to take over Milner's utility role for the next 4-5 years.

Who else could you get with PL experience like him? If it's a loan with an option to buy you can't really go wrong. Still managed 8 goals and 6 assists this season in 23 Bundesliga games which is pretty good.

I hope Barca are stuck with him though, means we'll get further transfer fee add ons.

We don't play a proper 10 anymore, and if he is used as a LW, I'd rather pump minutes into Saka and Martinelli.

If he is a loan option and Barca are paying the majority of the wages I'd probably be open to the idea

Brentford will know what he's worth, will be interesting to see how they go with EPL funds (if they make it).
