I reckon City need two new CBs to replace Fernandino and Stones, a LB to replace Mendy, a LM to replace Sane and a target man up front.

My shopping list would be Kalidou Koulibaly, Caglar Soyuncu, Renan Lodi, Wilf Zaha (or Ismaila Sarr), Erling Haaland.

City going about their business. One CB so far with Nathan Ake, and LM Ferran Torres.

I think we can go by Dortmund's comments that all journalists are simply guessing.

Ake is a decent get. Far better partner for Laporte than Stones or Otamendi.

Really don’t get what United are playing at tbh. Surely you know the price, you know you’ve got no competition - you make an offer and get the dialogue happening.

Perhaps that’s why I’m not a football operations manager and I have no idea. But a waiting game helps nobody.

Fwiw, I hope he stays, even if we sell him for half the fee next year

Maybe they aren't as interested as what is being reported. Maybe they are concentrating on sales and EL before buying.

Knowing the price they could as likely see it as unreasonable and not being bothered to enter further discussions as it would be pointless.

Ake is a good player, but he is quite suspect in the air though. Not sure he's good enough to be a starting centre back for league winners, but if he's 3rd/4th choice then obviously can't really complain.
