Good kanga for a player Brighton supporters are saying is 4th or 5th in line in their 'production line'.

Haha what?

Not one Brighton fan is seriously saying what you've quoted.

The collective opinion is that Duffy will be moved on to clear room. There's also a thought Dale Stephens could be moved on to create room for a defensive midfield role.

We have depth at CB position but that's exactly what you need in the PL to survive.

Would be idiots not to ask for a premium if another team is so desperate for them. Spurs got 14m out of us for Jake Livermore because of his successful loan, it's pretty standard.
Very standard. Chelsea are good at getting fees for hardly tested youth.

Look like we’ll get 13m for Walker-Peters who MP neglected for seasons. All of 6 good months on loan.

Reckon 40m for White is a tad cheeky though

Of course but if you were in as much financial peril as some are trying to make out you wouldn't be making that kind of signing.

True enough.

With the progression of players through our youth systems this season we were never viewing it as one where we lash out and making a bunch of big signings.

That's the model we hope to make work going forward to rein sustainable.

It's probably more a negotiating tactic and he'd probably go for closer to 30m but no harm in asking. Especially when Leeds seem happy to splash out on a 100m transfer window.

Sorry, Leeds are only after small fees.
WILL NOT SPEND 100M. We were told!

With Dortmunds deadline approaching it looks like United aren't going to even make contact.

Hopefully it means we are working on a CB and one or two midfield signings.

Surprised none of the bigger clubs are chasing Burnley's central defender Tarkowski, after the season he's had.....I know he's 27, but still very surprising.
Probably a bit of buyer beware with how Michael Keane has gone at Everton at least initially, that and playing for Burnley and defending deep / blocking shots constantly etc. compared to playing as a ball defending CB with a top 6 team etc.

Not sure if I totally believe the no contact thing. Surely UTD couldn’t be that irresponsible? Or so arrogant that they believe they’ll get him regardless?

Weird post. If no contact has been made maybe United have passed on the chance to sign him.

Not sure how that makes them arrogant or irresponsible.

Maybe negotiations are ongoing and United know the deadline by Dortmund was meaningless. Guess we'll know in a few hours when Dortmund shut up shop.

Don’t think it’s that weird at all

I don’t believe for a second when Zorc et. al say there’s been no dialogue. There’s been far too many similar reports of fees etc for there to be absolutely nothing.

I guess we’ll wait and see. There’s a lot of noise coming from ITK sources that say there has been dialogue. Think there’s truth from a few sides

Again, not sure how it makes United arrogant or irresponsible.

It is pretty obvious they just are

I mean, If they’re got a clear target, the club they need to buy from has set a date for them to make an offer, then surely you accept that. I mean it could have all been bluff and they don’t actually want Sancho which I could totally understand in this day and age.

I just think if a club targets a player they ‘need’ but make no advances, it’s probably a bit irresponsible of them. If the selling club has set out some terms and conditions that need to be met and the buying club feels the need to disregard that and assume they can do what they want, then id say that’s arrogant. I don’t walk into an electronics shop looking to pick up a sale item after the sale has passed, and then call the shopkeeper a campaigner and get mad when he honours the advertised terms and not what I deem to be acceptable.
