Recency bias sadly has caused a lot of fans to remember the last 12 months when Christian had checked out and not the years prior where he was great. No idea if the same applies to PEH but he has done well in some metrics.

I'd imagine he'll be able to both work in tandem with Winks, or they will rotate in and out of the team

120m would be the equal 4th biggest transfer. Not sure if it's a "bargain" if it happens. Pretty good result for both teams.

Dembele would be a good fit IMHO. Faster. Arugably more talented. Sadly made of glass but wouldn't disrupt greenwoods development

Problem is that price seems to be out of reach in todays environment for you guys.

Fast forward 12 months and theres a good chance you will be in a better position to shell out the big ££££

From most accounts United are in. Good position to spend.

I hope that is the end of it, I'll back Bielsa to turn another mid priced player into a gun and use the funds elsewhere.

I'd like to see what Bielsa could do with someone like Foyth for half that fee.

Yeh 30m is ridiculous. He's never played in the premier league and had 1 season in the championship. Would love to have him back but think we can spend the money better.

Yep.

I will say one thing though, if Brighton value him at £35m+ presumably, I can't think of many others that would command that fee in their squad.

He rightfuly should be wanting to be paid the same, if not more than Dunk if he stays and re-signs. He's also going to want to be in the starting lineup in 4 weeks. He's only on £4k a week currently.

Idk but I don't think it's dead until the window shuts. Woody is quite dumb but even he won't give 120m if he can get the player cheaper. Probably rumors continue in January. Next season too.
