If cfc win the league, chilwell will probably be a influential part of the team.

And they probably have him another 5-10 years.

A good risk from Chelsea perspective imo. LCFC players especially national team starters are not going 5o come cheap.

That's strange logic but in no way makes 65m for a left back worth it just for one title.

Allison and VVD were world record signings (position wise) and good buys in hindsight.

It wouldn't surprise me if chilwell turns out similar. It's quite hard to win the league with city spending billions and lfc having a strong squad.

They have won only one domestic league in the asterisk season. The lfc signings are a better comparison than mangala imo

That would be a decent get for Chelsea, a definite upgrade on Kepa.
Burnley would want a fair bit I think, but it's not hard to be an upgrade on Kepa. I really like Pope, his distribution isn't great but I'd rather that be the weakness of my keeper. He commands his area and has presence.

I'd take Foster too. I think he'd be a great cheap stop gap for a season(let us to spend on a decent CB this window) and then buy a younger, better keeper next summer and Ben can take Willys number 2 spot for a few seasons.

Just get Pope to roll it out to your CBs and you should be fine.

I wouldnt spend money on a stop gap. I'd just stick with Kepa for one more season if you cant afford a keeper this window.

We cant afford to stick with Kepa imo. To much of a liability.

He Is only 25. If he finds his form he will be very good.

In regards to replacing him why keep offering middling English keepers?

Aim higher if Oblak isn't happening. Onana. Donnarumma etc.

Im a big Pope fan and hes better than Onana and Donnarumma imo. He'd be a great get for us.

Whats going on with Hendo at Utd? Sheffield Utd have signed a keeper so hes not going back. Cant imagine him & DDG being in the same squad. Maybe you guys could buy DDG?
