If Ronaldo was to leave Juve, I can only really see PSG being a option. Would have him back in a heartbeat though, what is he? 35? We signed Zlatan a few years ago at that age and he was pretty bloody good for us.

Theyll want 200 for him. There was some talk of Bernardo Silva to Barca - maybe Bernardo + 100m could work.

Lol.

Yeah sure.

If the price is right and he doesn’t absolutely demolish our wage structure (and he would), I would love to see that signing. Even at 35 I am sure he would still be amongst the fittest footballers in the league. If ever there was a player who would be good for 30+ plus goals every season from this point forward for the rest of his career in Europe, it is Ronaldo.

Wasn't the talk , Messi to inter. About last week. His dad moved there or something?

If I were a Chinese billionaire that owned a Milan team I'd look at Messi too.

Conte is an idiot. Should keep his mouth shut. Instead of discussing relocating mega cathedrals

Why are you so pessimistic? It is done

Not wanting to get your hopes up. Common outcome from fans.

He looks a LFC player. As much as havertz is at cfc.

It will happen makes too much sense not too.

Lfc fans that want a 23 year old with resale value are stupid. You have already won everything. Now is the time to buy world class older players.

Not many guys available could improve the lfc best 1. Thiago appears one of them. Great signing...

Most LFC fans are pretty happy with the possibility of signing Thiago. Milner either moves on next year or the year after so makes sense. The problem seems to be agreeing a fee with Bayern but some LFC tomatoes are saying this likely is done and both parties are waiting for the CL to conclude before announcing it. We'll see, I personally think our offer of 18m is way too low even in this time of pandemic.

this is a clear move to put massive public pressure on bartomeu to step down. no one else at barca is big enough to try and force through such change. sure some of the money has been spent poorly but it hasnt been spent on bad players. neymar leaving left them with a big hole on the pitch and a massive amount to spend. dembele and coutinho were not bad buys, which is where the bulk of the money went. expectation on dembele at 20 to replace a top 5 player in the world + injuries hurt him massively. only about 50 league games i think since he came across. they have probably never been able to replace mascherano's leadership either. malcom again had a fantastic season at bordeaux, looked like he could be anything, 40 mil spent, only got one season and punted off to zenit.

plus you also look at the bizarre and dodgy deals of the last few seasons. paulinho coming in and going back to china, cillessen/neto swap deal, braithwaite, prince boateng and murillo loans and now the pjanic/artur swap, as well as the vissel kobe/japan deals. i would not be surprised if there is an investigation brought on by the next president into the running of the club over the past 5 years money wise. how can a club that generates so much money be broke?

Doesn't normally take long between the first Messi leaving rumours and the new contract.

If he wanted to Messi could force a change at the club by saying that he will go unless the elections go his way. Laporta is waiting in the wings and change is desperately needed at Barca.

Messi's going nowhere at least until the elections are completed. Laughable to think that Inter can offer him anything- he is already th best paid player in the world.

Some talk that Messi would be happy with Poch taking over at Barca.

Messi might be but the fans likely wouldn't.

I heard Raphael Honigstein today estimating their wage bill at +500 mil euros. 70% of their revenue before Corona. And how can they raise money? Clubs already have less money available for transfers, and who is going to pay anything decent for old players like Suarez and Vidal, or someone like Semedo? They can't even sell Couthinho. It seems clear now the club has been way too generous with contract extensions for some of the old guard. Romantic and all, but Busquets until 2023 and Alba until 2024, really?
