Our teams finished on the same pts this season, we’re doing fu** all while you’s are nailing this window.

Chelsea already quite a bit ahead of us now.
Apart from flirting with Sancho you havent done anything yet. Still plenty of time but are you being linked with anyone?

The only concern you would have now with Chelsea once they get Havertz over the line is really just Lampard himself.

Is he the next great manager or is he not up to the job. Time will tell, I think he's been pretty good with Derby and then didnt do too bad a job with Chelsea last season.

But there is a difference between been the hunter and being the hunted. Last season was like a free pass, no transfers, play some youth, see if we can make the CL which to his credit he did. But with these new big signings, more ego's in the dressing room and far more expectations on the field, we will see if Lampard is up to the job.

YES YES YES YES YES IT'S HAPPENING IT'S NEARLY HERE!

Ever heard of defence?

The real question is now who gets sold in that midfield. Obviously not mount.. but how do you fit Mount and Havertz into the one side? Could stifle his career.

Jorgi probably first on the chopping block, Ross too. Mount will stay but get less games I reckon. Both Mount and Havertz are super versatile so having them both for weeks with a lot of fixture congestion will be good.

You surely haven't completely missed that we're about to sign Chilwell and are leading for Silva, right?
Silva while good, isn't going to solve all the problems you have. His legs won't survive a non Farmers league.

This is how the EPL destroys the England National Team.

He could always move to a shit team like Everton where he's first choice starting every week but getting no better cause nothings challenging him. Or he can stay and fight for his spot in a competitive squad and improve...

Not really how it works and you know it.

I laughed. Good work Jordan.

Hahaha

Leeds are being super bellends in all this. For some reason, just because they loaned the player for a season that he should somehow now become a Leeds player.

No... Brighton loaned him to you so he could develop and develop he has and now Brighton will take advantage of that. Leeds also got to have a good player for a year which helped them win games and ultimately get promoted. Win, win. That's how loans are supposed to work!!

He wants a spot in a top team, he has to fight for it. It'll make him a better player if he gets there. It's not like he won't play at all next season

Does it though? Because all we here about from Chelsea about their loanees is getting them regular games makes them better. Let's not forget Phil Foden and the talk from everyone about him needing game time. Playing him out of position doesn't make him better either.

Havertz can play on the right too so both could play if needed. Yes it'll stunt Mount's development but in the long term it's worth it. Mount will keep on playing, keep on improving and Havertz will be a massive asset. Havertz is a great signing and Mount will still play especially towards the middle and end of the season as the fixture gets more busy.
