Sadly, it seems like United’s only hope of Liverpool not winning the league next season and reaching our 20 league titles is for Messi to go to City. Who’d have thunk it?

What about Chelsea? You reckon they’ll need time to gel after all the big signings?

I reckon they would need time to gel in a new system but reckon they will be very good. They have had a really good summer and there’s more to come it would appear. But who knows, they could hit the ground running.

I think Liverpool will be the team to beat again. Liverpool have been a 97 and 99 point team the last 2 seasons. They will get up there again this season. IMO, Liverpool, City and Chelsea (Not necessarily one that order) will be this seasons top 3.

Valencia & Leeds have agreed to 30m euro for Rodrigo. He seems to be exactly what we need. Now we need a CB or 2.

If you are desperate for a backup English CB on loan, we’ve got Nat Phillips who was a 3rd in line CB for Stuttgart last season.

Difficult to back up a third time after 97 and 99 point season. I think their will be a drop off, hopefully not enough where we dont retain the league though.

Didn't he only score 4 goals last season? Huge fee for someone who isn't exactly prolific.

Played a lot more of a link up role, which is what I imagine we will use him for as well.

We employ a false 9, he's a definite upgrade on Bamford.

Disagree entirely. Bamford knows your system and the PL and will score more goals than Robert this season. Bizarre signing at that fee.

£27m is the fee apparently, although I've read as low as £22m+

Everything I'm seeing is 30m + add ons but not going to quibble.

20m down 80m to go if you want to play that game.

Really surprised if you're spending that sort of money on a striker that you didn't just get the risk-free Bats.

What are you on about now?

Barca tried to buy him not even 12 months ago and Valencia wanted £50m+ for him

We will sign Kent from Rangers and Koch more than likely, that will be it. So yeah, we might get to half of your 100m prediction.....

Espn saying Messi release clause is 800m

So according to our sell to buy strategy, if we cloned Harry Wilson 20 times and then sold him at 20mil a pop, we’d still be short by 400mil.

He had free release clause up until June 10 so Barca say it’s expired but Messi camp is saying due to Covid and season being halted/finishing late etc ...messy indeed

Scored 7 which isn’t bad in Spanish league for a guy that was not a #9. Read they are looking at Cabral as #9.

Rodrigo is a terrible buy for Leeds so hopefully they get him.

Messi's camp will argue his get out free card is still active due to the change in the season, this one is going to court I imagine if he is 100% set on leaving.

Thought it was a pretty straight forward comment. Bats is suggested to cost similar to what you've spent on Robert, but Bats has the runs on the board in the PL. Seems as a promoted club instead of pissing money against the wall on a gamble that could pay off or could be a flop, you go the safer option to ensure you get the goals you need to stay up.

So instead of going to Barca for 50m+ he's ending up at Leeds for 15m, probably suggests he hasn't had a fantastic season.

Scored 4. 3 in the Champions League.

Agree with this. Liverpool are still the best team in England. No need to panic. Who knows if Chelseas full new first team will gel together. If you get Thiago im putting you in the box seat for another UCL final and close to 100 points. Once you get Sancho in 2021 and Mbappe in 2022 it’ll be carnage
