He is a great get for Leeds. Sadly. Will bang them in.

He's 29 and has scored 12 goals in his last 60 league appearances for Valencia, what makes you say that?

He has never banged them in before so why would he suddenly start doing it now for Leeds?

Why? I have never seen him play and know nothing about him so keen to know what is wrong with him. Is he missing a leg?

Because being over 26 and from Spain instantly makes you Alvaro Negredo on this board.

Because Leeds supporters need to check themselves before they wreck themselves.
Think most fans are realistic, it’s about survival this season as it is for any promoted club. Why shouldn’t be excited about a signing. If he’d scored 10 goals or so bigger clubs would have pushed us out of the market. He could help make a difference between bottom three or otherwise. He’s not a out and out striker btw.

Maybe you should be more worried about Accrington and Fleetwood Mac

He literally scored 20 in all comps playing as a striker in 17/18 which put him either side of Bale and Greizmann.

He has played as a false 9 and through the wings the last 2 seasons.

Have a look at the last Spain vs England game if you think he is shit. He tore England a new one with a goal and assist in a 2-1 win.

How anyone could rework this as anything but a promising signing for a newly promoted side is bizarre. We aren't fighting for the title ffs.

I thought you were a fan of only looking at league stats. ;) ;) ;)

One game at a time, big opening clash with Sunderland in the League Cup before we face the might Leicester U21s in the Johnston Paint trophy. Can't wait.

We can judge him off his record in the UCL and for Spain if you like?

I'm not sure that would help your argument tbh.

I'm blown away with his 4 in 17 return in the UCL in the last two years.

You know who has an even better return in the UCL in the last two years and with his national team...? ;) ;)

I mean imagine having Hamez, Gomes and Gylfi as a 3 man midfield, they really need Gbagmin to get fit otherwise.

Think they're after Allan too which would be super impressive. You feel like Everton desperately want to make that next step but just can't get the calibre of signings they need. They've been throwing money at it for a few years now but you look at their squad and it's still massively made up of dross.

Almost a goal a game for Spain...

Valencia have become a basket case his recent record should be overlooked somewhat

Fast and solid looks like a bielsa type to me

Is 8 in 22 for Spain almost a goal a game now?

I've never seen a more easily aggravated fanbase than Leeds supporters on here!

Get used to it.

Wait for Lampards reception at ER.....

Guess that's the thing, whether these new signings are actually long term upgrades or not. I would be very curious to see how Hamez goes in the PL though, but signing those 2 aren't likely to bring you say any resale value, but don't think Moshiri cares much for that.

I'm a little surprised they weren't more heavily in for Bowen, but I guess once Silva went that interest probably went with him (since he had worked with Bowen before). They should be targeting those sorts of players with re-sale value as they can't just run a slush fund forever.
