Rodrigo: Leeds reach agreement with Valencia for Spain striker
Leeds are closing in on the signing of Spain international Rodrigo after reaching an agreement with Valencia.www.skysports.com
Any Valencia fans here ? Will Rodrigo flourish in the Premier League?
Right.. so you're agreeing with the point that Leeds need to sign some players if they want to continue to rely on their game style. That's all Bostonian is saying.
Excluding the agreed fee's on the loans being made permanent, we've already signed 3 players, likely 2 more in the next few days and then Greenwood from Arsenal.
How many do you think is needed with your infinite knowledge of our depth and u/23's?
He's a youth signing. You're really grasping at straws now. You need to pick a stance here Pykie, either you're going with the "We don't need to make many signings, Bielsa likes to trust the players he has" or "We're making lots of signings" it can't be both.
He's an expensive youth signing.
Are you sure he's going to be in the u/18's Marcelo?
Gelhardt is in the first team squad at training and he's twice the fee.
So what is it?

Who is Leeds United's looming striker signing Sam Greenwood?
Leeds United are on the verge of completing another youth signing in the shape of Arsenal starlet Sam Greenwood.www.leedsallover.com
Are they wrong?
I didn't comment on Gelhardt so not sure what you're complaining about, he's clearly a first team signing and a good one for the future but will surely be off the bench to start with?
I'm not complaing about anything, you are the Leeds oracle.
You were talking about squad depth, he will be in the first team squad, as depth.
Anyway, take it to the Leeds thread, as no doubt everyone will start complaining about this thread being derailed (By you, again).

Leeds IMO need a proper striker who is PL-proven, but you poo pooed Batshuyai so not sure who you would want to go after, but Bamford isn't strong enough to lead your line and Robert seems more suited to playing a wide creative role than being the finisher. Maybe make a push to bring Arnautovic back to the league?
You also need to bolster your defence if you want to play a high tempo game, Norwich and Fulham were both exposed with their terrible defences, and with no White you need other players to step up. This potential CB signing is a good start, but probably need at least one more as depth in case of injuries. An upgrade in your full back positions would also be an important area to focus on.
Harrison is a good CM addition, but another creative type in midfield would help as well. So all up I would say 4-5 more signings are still needed for Leeds at a minimum.
I think this conversation needs to be put down....

IWould be good to see Messi in the PL, even if it’s at City, but it’s going to be quite complicated getting him out of Barca.
We should get Ronnie back, Messi v Ronaldo in a Manchester derby![]()

Luke Ayling just won the Championship Player of the season at FB and Harrison plays on the wing, not CM.
Kent is being signed as exactly the CM creative type you have described.
